It's really frustrating not to get any indications on how the chain length should it be with these oversized cages. I have one from koegel and I still don't know if I'm running it for full optimal operation. I believe my chain is too short now... but I can't really tell. Any idea on how to set up a chain length with massively oversize cages?
There are a bunch of videos on youtube that show how to size a chain. If your derailleurs can go into big/big with a little bit of bend in the derailleur, you should be fine.
Just installed mine. It will go big/big but doesn’t seem happy. Lower pulley is almost horizontal. When in 2 up from small in the back and small ring, chain is nearly floppy. Running 11/30 x 36/52. So frustrating

Do you need a longer chain?
Definitely. So far I’ve seen plus 2 rivets but not sure if it’s accurate. Kogel doesn’t even explain it in their install instructions
