My husband and I moved from Kansas City to Alabama four years ago to work at a children’s home. Finding this podcast has been such a blessing and a fun way to stay connected to KC. Love what you guys do and what you stand for!
My parents just got back from a cruise and my dad won the poker tournament on the ship. The prize was whatever amount of money and he got invited to go on another Cruise where the first place is $200,000. Casinos on cruises are so much fun! Also, I know that you guys were just kind of being silly but I just want to encourage you to keep sharing your faith and talking about Jesus! I love hearing it and it's been one of the reasons that I've kept listening.
My family went on a cruise several years ago and we encountered a fellow cruiser who called himself Hefty. I can’t remember how many cruises he had been on but it was an insane amount. He basically goes on cruises and participates in all the contests, karaoke, etc. and really knows how to get the ship going. Everyone knew him by the end of the week. He really should’ve gotten paid by the cruise line. I wonder what ole Hefty is up to every now and then.

If the comedy is that bad on the ship, you should have done your own show at that point. Sheltered Kid on a Cruise special! 4. Brad, I’m doing the same thing with IG follows! I look at a lot of music, Nintendo, memes, and pickleball. I usually follow if they have multiple reels I like. I think i have more follows than followers.😂 5. Since the cruise was prolly international, you played blackjack with some people who prolly have played years and years and perhaps have done tournaments. I prolly wouldn’t know either since I’ve never played the game. 6. John sounds amazing! He would be a fun guest on the pod! I feel like definitely you three could get some jokes running 7. Bro How It’s Made was one of my favorite shows! I never really pursued engineering but it was still an interest I had. I still love seeing how things work and how different tech is created! 8. Yes, Kansas and Missouri do have an accent! We have a flat dialect, generally referred to as a midland accent. A lot of the time you’ll find that midwestern will merge their vowel sounds in homophones (nod, gnawed, stock, stalk)
I went on a royal Caribbean cruise in 2022 and they did the SAME annoying counting thing at the belly flop contest. I wonder if it’s a requirement for their employees or a really weird coincidence?!? Anyone else been on Royal Carib and can weigh in??
It’s a law because plenty of people don’t use their headlights with wipers & it’s so dangerous! They’re a lot harder to see when it’s pouring and darker outside. Plenty of people Brad, plenty of people.
