I am a good moose hunter and I always get my moose but sometimes like on my first hunt the moose was a bit scary when he came out behind me but I got my moose for the season
So say I called at last light, then called 3-4 am. What's my plat at first light? Stay silent unless they are talking, and if they are then that's when I match the bull? What if it's a cow calling but I can take bull only? Get closer and be silent? Rake and grunt softly? Or just plain stay silent? Awesome tips, thank you.
Headed up September 15th-28th. It’s my second trip for moose. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. It definitely helps a DIY hunter. Good luck man.

Calling early in New Brunswick is illegal
