I’m an artist, and i’ve always really admired graffiti art especially- i love finding the small stuff hidden around my town. I want to make a comic that really draws out the crucial depth graffiti brings out in cities, (and maybe i wish i had the balls to actually go out and do my own stuff) so these types of videos are just double the inspiration for me

I was like 20 minutes into this when I realised that I already saw some of those pieces - Great Documentary and the accents really made me laugh - as a fellow german native speaker.
Never say I can't draw like that anyone can do it all you gotta remember is they were all toys at one point but practice and dedication takes you a long way

This documentary not only misses the mark on the origin of the culture (like one of the artists claimed that urban art started in the mid-90s). Yerp, Style Wars is still the documentary to watch.
normally graffiti docus are boring but this is great, interesting stories good cinematography cool non rockstar people, and even great song selection BIG UP

Real inspirational makes me want to go right out and punk rock all over my skate board while huffing cans, breaking more than all the rules. I would love to do this in my city. I live in the Bronx and I see places all over White Plains Road where i could paint some really nice shit but I'm not one to look for trouble either and there are always NYPD everywhere. I'm gonna loom into how i could get some street space to pal t legally if thats at all possible. 😎
Just get a can of paint or some paint markers and go crazy, I'm from Brooklyn so I know how it is but if you play your cards right and avoid doing stupid shit then you won't get caught.

I think I'm gonna go buy some of those paint markers and just carry them in a purse so i can pull them out quickly when I can find a cool spot to paint on the street. @@treschapman3754 I'm not gonna lie to you, nobody is not gonna be suspicious of you just based off the fact that you are a woman. I've never gotten caught and that's because I'm real careful and I don't play and stand around looking suspicious. I paint and get out as fast as I can without drawing any attention, good luck painting just be careful if you see any other writers because they will try and Rob or worse, most of them are drug addict dickheads. If the police catch you then run if you think you can but if not then they will probably toss your can and tell you to fuck off or paint your hands, if they do arrest you the judge will have you do community service. If you are a known writer then they would probably give you 2 years jail time but I wouldn't worry, never talk or admit to anything and ask for your lawyer and you will be okay.

These guys get up early, gather their equipment and hit the streets. Put that energy into building up society , not destroying it. Do your creativity on canvas like the rest of us. Cities spend millions on buffing your work anyhow
