Don't have time to watch this video right now, but I saw it posted and just wanted to say that I hope everything is calming down for you, your family, your friends, and your neighbors. I'm not one for prayers but you've all been in my thoughts.
Number one threat being you is relatable! A company I worked at a long time ago used to do some of the backups by copying files to a folder from various systems, they would then all get dumped to CD's for the monthly backup. I got mixed up one day and copied last months copy of a quotation database over the live one. The quote system was so bad I could have blamed the system, but I owned the mistake. One positive was I had the thought to be able to roll on the record ID's so we didn't end up with duplicate quotation numbers for different quotes that would then have had the same ID. Needless to say, I implemented rotating backups and daily snapshots of everything, especially the database files! Also ended up writing a new quote system.
Surveillance absolutely IS security. Obviously what you do with the footage, either live or consequently is important. Just because someone might misuse it, it doesnt mean it isnt useful for others.
One of the detailed core CS concepts talker RUclipsr. Great keep going on. Better to put all this insightful cartoon books. Would like to buy one definitely
Hey Big E... Great to see you again... Was a follower of your cult back in 12 or so ... Messin up my own crap has become a calling back into tech. again.... Thus... found you, again... Anyway... The conversation with the CEO is never the choice between the systems needs & yachts... The conversation is how many additional feet of yacht they will be able to acquire with the efficiencies through the proposed systems implementation! ! Get my ass employed & I'll get you cash for the class. Till then, we are praying for you all.
Eli, you are awesome, thank you for havin some humour on on it. I think the mirrorin' backup solutions for ransomware should aweome and secured at best. It should be affordable that every little company should have a decent backup solution if incident occures. Thank you!
Hey Eli, I wanted to tell you on class that if you'll make an open mic for geeks wod be awesome.. & then go into comedy,... Damm you re funny buti also know how good you're in networking programming and... In life.. Anyway, congrats ❤❤😊🎉🎉🎉
Nothing suspicious about a PFC buying something out of their price range. Not a million dollar house but an overpriced car with outrageous interest. Common occurrence actually. That and marrying strippers for some reason.
If Microsoft could just change their stupid font-color of their products from blurred #262626 to pure #fffff, many of these screen recordings would have been legible enough. I have too many Zoom and Meeting recordings done on Windows PC's ...may be I am blind but Microsoft's font-color need to go.
Nah come on, it's educational entertainment. You can skip intro. Time codes would be nice but Eli is not writing here, so probably we could do the job (time codes) cheers

This is the sweet spot for Eli.
Really enjoyed. I thought this might be a bit cut and dry learning. I enjoyed the stories and anecdotes along with the practical knowledge. 👍

What workarounds are there for the code review teams compromising the code?
I quit when my boss starts creeping up into my personal life. It's a red flag they may be looking for a reason to fire you.

I wonder how the equipment being compromised by the factory scenario can be protected against
