When I was small child (early 2000s) my cool uncle, who had a lipstick red 1986 Porsche 911 3.2. Coupé, used to take on an evening cruse on the German Autobahn during summer. He was an absolute Miami Vice and frankly mentally still stuck in the late 70s and 80s. He used to play this song, while sun was flooding the sky in orange, and just put the foot down. This song in this car at >250k/mh on an empty street was something I will never forget these drives, especially the moment when you left the Autobahn, there were fewer wind noises, while still being on the high of speed with Laura Branigan from the radio, gave my a feeling I never felt again after.

Miami Vice, Literally a series that was ahead of it's time. What an era. The nostalgia is real man. Been re-watching the entire series these past months, and what a time. Don't think any show can come close too it these days. Sad that the era, is long past. Iconic storyline, themes, instrumentals, characters and so much more. Legendary.

I wish Rockstar would create "Miami Vice" the game or Miami City etc and stick back to the 80s-90s supercars, maps, buildings, roads etc.of Miami but with graphics, architecture and smooth gameplay of today....Even have the option to be either a gangster or a police/law officer (like in the Miami Vice series). It would be a game for the young to learn and the old to remember and be nostalgic......I think many would love it,especially those who adore Vice city and have watched the series as well....
Unfortunately, a game like that is likely to never happen. While there was a game for the movie back in the day, a game based on the original series is less probable than someone winning the lottery. Mostly because people hardly make TV Show games, and most of the folks who watched back in the day, unless they've been playing games for a good few years, aren't likely to pick up a system or a copy of the game. Plus, one has to wonder how much of the cast would be willing to reprise their roles. A man can dream though.

What made the 1980s so amazing was that everything came together. Some say the music was great, some say movies, others the economy or politics, but the thing is that they are all correct. In a decade we got the best of almost everything, reaching heights never seen before, or since. It was not perfect, not by a mile, but compared to other decades, and looking at the average, the level of greatness of each field was much higher than it ever was before, or since. THAT is why the 1980s is the greatest decade of modern human civilisation.

No show has better embodied the era of the 80s like Miami Vice! And no show has ever been able to duplicate the impact it has had on its generation. The music and the mtv video like scenes pulled you in the first 3 or 4 minutes of the show and that was it, you were hooked for the rest of the hour on Friday night! We had to wait to party with friends till after Miami Vice was over!
Man, I was born in 1987 so I was a little child at the end of the 80s but my birthday is one more out of million reasons why the 80s was the golden decade! (the 90s too but in second place). The hair, the jackets, the cars, neon lights, car chases, and brilliant music! Just the whole vibe was pure art!
This song, "In The Air Tonight" and "You Belong To The City" will always be synonymous with Miami Vice to me. I can't hear these songs without thinking of Crockett and Tubbs
I used to watch this in the UK Sat night Friday then.Saturday's with my older brother in the 1980s. May Allah be with you. My beautiful brother. RIP Was.
Some of the greatest music ever and one of the greatest television shows ever! I was in my mid-teens when "Self Control" by Laura Branigan and Miami Vice hit the airwaves. There has been a lot of great songs and videos since, but there's just something special about Crockett, Tubbs and that amazing Ferrari coupled with Laura's amazing voice.
Everyone wanted to be Sonny and Ricardo. All the kids at school were dressing in shoes with no socks, pink shirts, and white blazers. The 80s. My gen. Miss it!
'Self Control' no es una canción de los 80s, son los 80s. Es una cápsula del tiempo tan potente, que incluso los que nacimos en los 90s podemos viajar a dicha década.
Soul's you mean. Yeah, the music and movies were fucking great. I recall everything was still kinda innocent. I used to try and sneak past midnight to watch those old italian sex movies or catch movies like Porky's, Revenge of the Nerds, Up the Creek and hoping not to get caught. lol Also, the horror movies were awesome, even the chessy B movies were cool.
Miami Vice was pure magic when it came out. It was an event every week when a new epidose came on. It was completely mesmerizing and it changed the whole country.
i am so lucky to have lived and experienced the 80s ... i was 8 years old when this song came out and I STILL friggin love it to this day ... the 80s were absolutely amazing times.

Why not, Hawaii Five-O brought back, Magnum PI brought back, but the big difference is those aren’t the original main actors, Don Johnson, is Miami Vice! Now it's filled with commercials and yapping annoying DJs 🙄
Same here , the best years ever.....I want to go back .
My mom lived through the whole 80s and always told me about it and about the 90s too
@@GXNNM I was a teenager in the 80's and my mom was always singing the songs.
Miami Vice forever the best¡¡¡¡ Every time I see a Miami Vice chapter my mind and my heart blow up of happiness and transport me to a unique a magic time in the afternoon when I had an TV appointment with mi partners Castillo, Sonny, Rico, Gina, Trudy, Zito, Switek. Forever in my heart, thank you guys¡¡¡ And thank you to the awesomes Anthony Yercovich, Michael Mann & Dick Wolf.
Músicas, roupas, carros, filmes, as cidades , tudo com muito estilo e personalidade que só os anos 80 proporcionaram.
GTA Vice City tb proporciona🤗
Che anni, quella era vita
Man, I was born in 1987 so I was a little child at the end of the 80s but my birthday is one more out of million reasons why the 80s was the golden decade! (the 90s too but in second place). The hair, the jackets, the cars, neon lights, car chases, and brilliant music! Just the whole vibe was pure art!
The 80s was a gift from God. Best decade ever.🙌
what a show...definition of cool
I remember watching this show when I was a kid with my dad. 80's rock.
Lived through this. My gosh, 😢 so many lost during those times. Not easy, love the fact the band just "the show must go on". 😅
I love you 80
Jorge Islas I miss you 1980s 😔😔
Am Longing for 80's & 90's 😔🙁
60's, 70's, 80's and 90's I miss you.
I miss the 80's. I'm 48, and still remind that fantastic décade, the Best of my life,
Graduated HS in 85 then college 90. Fond memories of the music and the night clubs of this special decade.
This song, "In The Air Tonight" and "You Belong To The City" will always be synonymous with Miami Vice to me. I can't hear these songs without thinking of Crockett and Tubbs
Excellent editing ! 1st class for a 1st class show !!!
Man, this is pure Vice City. ♥
Everyone wanted to be Sonny and Ricardo. All the kids at school were dressing in shoes with no socks, pink shirts, and white blazers. The 80s. My gen. Miss it!
Since gta6 trailer came out this has been all I've been thinking about 😭😭😭
Oh man I m a 2000 kid but my mum used to get me to listen to those masterpieces...I m glad she did that
Miami Vice and Self Control-perfect
One of the greatest voices of rock music!!!!
'Self Control' no es una canción de los 80s, son los 80s. Es una cápsula del tiempo tan potente, que incluso los que nacimos en los 90s podemos viajar a dicha década.
Tan claro como el agua
Coincido mucho con ese pensamiento
Creo que Self control es el tema más ochentoso que hay
Legendary music the soles who lived during that time understands real music
Ishmael Sykes yeaaaah
Soul's you mean. Yeah, the music and movies were fucking great. I recall everything was still kinda innocent. I used to try and sneak past midnight to watch those old italian sex movies or catch movies like Porky's, Revenge of the Nerds, Up the Creek and hoping not to get caught. lol Also, the horror movies were awesome, even the chessy B movies were cool.
Best 80s show ever. Take me back.😢
Miami Vice was pure magic when it came out. It was an event every week when a new epidose came on. It was completely mesmerizing and it changed the whole country.

Great selection of Vice clips. Almost forgot how violent that series was. Also forgot how beautiful the Laura Branigan song was.

Gabriel Pohontu I love vice city and san andreas and liberty city
in VC at high wanted level you can even be chased by cops in a white Cheetah (Ferrari Testarossa)..
You know Don Johnson was a fantastic looking guy and i'm not gay. What a nice guy he is as well. I'm so glad to grow up in the 80's.
90% of bad guys were Colombians in the series and as a Colombian myself I miss and still love watching Miami Vice episodes and soundtrack! 80s best decade ever! 🇨🇴🇨🇴😎🤙🥃🥃
Ótima escolha de imagens. Esse foi o seriado de ação mais bem feito dos anos 80.
@Gadelha amigo vc poderia me disponibilizar o torrent se ainda o tiver ?
2:31 mission passed plus respect 😍😂
Sonny Crockett was, Is and always will be legendary in any decade!
Thats Vice City remaster look fantastic!
The best memories of my adolescence! The 80s I love them!
im a 2006 18 year old kid now whose first GTA or in fact first video game was GTA Vice City and all those radio stations gave me such strong and nostalgic vibe of 80s even tho I never experienced it physically
Тоже самое друг. Мне тогда было 17 лет. Как щас помню.
Thirty years later, Don Johnson is in talks of doing another Miami Vice series! Why not, Hawaii Five-O brought back, Magnum PI brought back, but the big difference is those aren’t the original main actors, Don Johnson, is Miami Vice! I only hope he doesn’t even consider this without Philip Michael Thomas, the two made the best cop series TV show ever!
