The interview approaches the following topics:
- EASTERN EUROPEAN IDENTITY AND HERITAGE AS ENVISIONED THROUGH plotless lyrics and expressionism.

- the name of the band (“Genune” in Romanian denotes a very deep and somehow misty or hazy precipice, a very steep rock face or a cliff-face)
- both the musical and the poetical style of the band and the conceptual dynamics behind them ( “Post-Industrial Psychedelically Metalized Dark Metal” or “Post-Black Metal, Blackgaze, Post-Metal and Neofolk with occasional progressive tendencies)

- the technical construction of the songs and of sound saturation, so as to try to explain how the music eventually grows on the listener or how the listener becomes entranced

- statements, SUBSTRATA and “subtexts” of Black Metal” and the link between the natural quality of the sound-stream and the evocative(descriptive) power of an album
- personal rituals of darkening, the evil / diabolical / dangerous and hidden face of fragility (or how does Abel turn into Cain)
- self-acceptance, empathy, introspection and self-absorption
- and, of course, poetry, personal style and again POETRY: “The absence of the imagination that has Itself to be imagined.” (Wallace Stevens) in the context of “an afterglow of fleeing particles
where there’s but the tremor of events past / Whose weight still burns immediate / Resplendent in its lonesome present” Eastern European Discontent.”
