    What a good mom she is. And so pretty. So sad to see her in such distress. I hope she found a good place for her babies.

    Well done! I had a momma, daddy, auntie & 3 babies around my yard last year. I fed them some vanilla cream cookies a few times. Even fed & petted one of the babies. One of the babies still lives nearby and still comes by my yard at night. Mom & babies never sprayed me. They did spray my neighbors dog (but it’s a very yappy dog 😂) so the neighbors then wanted all 6 skunks 🦨 removed, but I convinced them, because they had babies, not too and that they would move on after the babies were bigger. I have dogs too but unlike a lot of people I turn on the outside lights and then go out with my dogs while they go potty. In 22 yrs they’ve never been sprayed. All the skunks but the one have moved on. 😊

    Never thought I'd say this... but I wish a family of skunks would make a home in our garage so I could call Gates and experience this cuteness 😂

    • @grey2868
      @grey2868 2 месяца назад

      it would make more sense to leave them there so you could experience the cuteness for weeks instead of minutes. Moving moms and their babies out of places seldom used doesn't make sense to me because theyre just using the space until the babies are old enough to move on.

    Really surprised no one got sprayed! I guess because she was on such an important mission and spraying you would really mess up her sense of smell?

    I find it so touching to see these tiny mothers defend and try to protect their babies. Skunks are such beautiful creatures. When I was a kid we camped on all our vacations…on one vacation a family’s German Shepard dog had been sprayed. Poor guy was washed first with tomato juice then a standard bath. The smell was eye watering!

    Very cool! Another mom determined to get her babies moved. At first I couldn't understand why she didn't see her baby. Then I remembered that they are nocturnal and don't see very well. Sorry to have missed the premiere. Another amazing video. I can just imagine you having a TV show soon..something the whole family can enjoy for a change. Maybe someday..🤔😁

    I appreciate the humane removal of wildlife such as this. The question is…as this is in the city, where do you suppose the skunks would go after this? Just another porch or shed?

    • @grey2868
      @grey2868 2 месяца назад +1

      probably. Luckily there are many animal lovers who don't care about sharing unused outdoor spaces with wildlife! I don't know how these homeowners call to have babies removed, the babies don't even have their eyes open! I couldn't do it since they're not bothering anyone.

    Awh this was so awesome to see. I know you get a lot of raccoons but to see baby skunks they were so cute. She was such a good mom she was only worried about getting her babies and I was surprised she didn’t feel threatened and try to spray. Did the babies smell because of mom? I didn’t think babies had any scent until they were older?
