As a woman who was born legally blind, I was left out of sports at school. We never had an option like 'goal ball.' It was not even a concept. This is wonderful though-- I would love to have had the chance to play this game! I would like to attend a game sometime.... I doubt that will ever happen, so I appreciate being able to watch / listen to the videos here on YT. Thank you !!
We played this at school today. It was so fun because everyone was terrible cuz we wore blind folds and we kept hitting each other when we threw the balls back in. I don't think we will be on any professional teams any time soon!

Is there an aqueous version of the sport for swimming pools, or is that a blind-spot in the design? I know a woman named Iris that would love this sport! When she was a pupil in grade school she would have had the nerve to play it. We aren't really friends anymore, though, since we just don't see eye-to-eye. Anyway, have a good one!

SuprA 44 i would think the visioned player.. you would have the advantage of seeing where the openings are, and playing with the spin of the ball to fake them like deer in headlights so to speak.. having said that tho.. i wanna play this now LOL blindfolded of course

Might you be able to find a team near where you live?? Maybe contact your local non-profit that serves the blind/visually impaired.

Great video, it would be even better though, to have at least some narration- like the names of the teams and the score as it moves along.
The wings on either side seem to know what they're doing more. The center players aren't putting down throws as good as them.

Actually penalty shots are more exciting to do cuz ya do a shuffle drill to the direction of the ball to block it.
