The Ultra may have more "user friendly" apps and UI navigation but the Fenix is superior in build, durability, Garmin ecosystem for anything outdoors and stand alone GPS (No cell required, no plan needed). There's a reason the Ultra is much cheaper. Outdoor/Athlete, you'll want Fenix 8. For people that are home bodies or indoor social monsters (With a Samsung Cell), you'll want the Ultra.
There are many bugs in the Fenix8.. Screen brightness in low light conditions makes my Felix 8 51 Amoled completely UNUSABLE!!! Also the watch lags even in the watch face menu.. it’s a horrible experience, never had these issues with my Fenix7X or my EPIXPRO 51!!
You have to be out of your mind to buy garmin when other companies like samsung with the "ultra" are half the price that can be traded in after years of use and updated....garmin does not support their products nearly as well as samsung. Dont get stuck with a $1000.00 paper weight like I did....garmin customer service is the worst.
I have both the watches, but I guess for me looks are subjective. The galaxy watch Ultra to me definitely doesn't look cheap, but it does not look as rugged as the Epix, but for everyday day use, I do enjoy the form factor of the ultra a bit more
@@404-Err0r Just swim in salt water multiple times with the Ultra watch and the metal will simply become brittle and wear away much faster. The Garmin is also much more accurate in terms of health measurements. Samsung watches are unreliable. The only thing the 7 Ultra excels in is the GPS. If I walk inside a shopping (with the Epix Pro 2) mall with the roof closed, the 7 Ultra recognizes this and continues to measure the correct path, while the Garmin often chooses the path outside the shopping mall. I am now wearing the Fenix 8 and this watch is definitely better than the 7 Ultra, also in the GPS area.
The Galaxy watch looks so awful already compared to the fenix🤮. And titanium. I don’t know if it helps a lot. I was a video about the fenix 8 when it came out and the titanium frame was completely scratched after a few weeks of hard using. I use a bazel protector on my fenix and it helps a lot🙂👍🏾
Garmin is better if you carry an android and ios device and dont want apple watch or got money for just one ..samsung watch is best if you own galaxy phone

Just a small correction, it is 29 days for Fenix 8 51mm in smartwatch mode not battery saving mode...for that it has 41 days of battery

Very simple and direct to the point video 💪🏽💪🏽
some bot reading all of this with stock footage
So 🤷🏻♂️
Correction. The Galaxy watch Ultra's chassis is not scratch-resistant; it easily scratches
What about the amazfit trex 3 for price point?
if Garmin had a cellular version? I don't know
No LTE version for Garmin sadly
@@404-Err0r well, when the apocalypse happens, i guess i can still have a map
Forerunner 945 has LTE
I have the Epix Pro 2 and the Samsung 7 Ultra and when i lay both watches next to eachother the Samsung looks cheap and from plastic..

Fenix have no LTE. We are in 2024 and no LTE. Samsung all the way.
Totally agree!
Samsung still has shitty battery and some people need that longer battery whereas not everyone needs LTE it's subjective
Who needs LTE in a watch?
I bet you're first in line for a govt issued tracking probe up the urethra too.

ok
Samsung is a Dinky toy in my eyes.
