Honestly, One of my favourite event, despite its flaws by the time they release the first version of it. Now, Hopefully the new version improves its own flaws.

@@evanjones5609 the techtree and base resets every run, so if you can't save a run through loading, for example, the last save was too recent, the congrats, everything gets cleared.

Still has flaws. It is still an enjoyable playing experience, but gets bored after everything is done. Unlike IS, the replayablity is low. The overall nodes are the same which is disappointing. The only random node encounters are mail box raids, but they are too short.
There is a standard mode which has 50% hp and attack reduction in enemy raids, and a 50% cheaper food. This mode doesn't affect boss nodes.
It is too easy for players that have strong roster, but too difficult for new players. It is a sort of 'end game', and the survival mode patch is still not released yet. I recommend introducing a harder mail box raid, increasing the max level from 6 to 15 difficulty.
I think it is a flaw to switch difficulty mode mid game. It should be only selectable from the start like IS. And the current standard and challenge mode are too easy and if they are difficulty 1 and 2 now, we should have up to 5 difficulties. Where level 5 is comparable to a poor unlucky N15 run fighting 4th ending in IS3.

Despite it's flaws I loved this game mode and I'm very happy to see it's now permanent like IS
