TikTok VIRAL Wax tablets!! Explanation & ASMR writing.

Hello history fans!
Happy new year! I hope you had a lovely festive period and are feeling ready to take on the new year.🥳
This video very briefly talks about the ancient roman wax tablet because, strangely they just went viral on TikTok so I thought I'd reintroduce you lovely new followers to them! If you've been here for a while you'll have heard and seen this before, but I hope you enjoy the ASMR nevertheless!

lovely video! this brings me back to taking Latin in high school. my teacher was always very adamant that the 'v' in latin is always pronounced with a 'w' sound. which makes the phrase "veni vidi vici" sound so silly to me lol

Would it be easier to write and erase by letting the ends of the stylus get hot over the candle before touching it to the wax or would that ruin the stylus? Either way, the wax sounds are everythinggg

probably! I think there's lots of ways to do it, I was just trying to make the scratchy sounds haha
