- This is my band review of Bolt Thrower, the OSDM masters from Coventry. They are my favorite death metal band so I am happy to talk about them!

I tend to not like a majority of OSDM but Bolt Thrower have been one of those exceptions where the music's not only great, but catchy as well. I don't listen to them regularly, but they definitely earn the respect so many people have for them.
I was there.... I heard them on the Peel show... Fuckin hell were they an eye, and ear, opener.
Riff after riff after riff.
Some of the best music I have ever heard, and I'm an old bastard (65), we'll never hear their like again.
BOLT THROWER this band has been with me all my life. Each album is a concentrate of energy which helps you carry out your own projects

Hey great video sir!! Thanks for making it. I go between war master and realm of chaos as my favorites. Surprised that you rated war master so low but hey different strokes...... I need to listen to honor more don’t think I gave it much of a chance. And yes Those Once is a masterpiece!! They went out with a true gem.
You serioulsy say that "Cenotaph" was the song that started that series? What about "In Battle There Is No Law" (outro riff of the song) and "World Eater", mate? ;)
For Victory is one of their strongest albums!!!
In general death metal and black metal bore me , but I really like Bolt Thrower .
love me some Bolt Thrower. but...their logo being off center is a thorn that permanently sticks in my craw.

I love all of BT’s albums but tend to agree with your ratings.
I only learned about the remastered Realms of Chaos album recently. I’ve owned the original for years. My buddy is a mixing expert and pointed out the sloppy engineering on it. I wish he had not. I can’t “unhear” the bad mixing on it now, and I LOVED it before. I’ve heard the remastered versions on youtube and they are great, but went way farther than just remastering. That’s ok. We get two versions! 🤘
