great work man... i actually put some sound deadening on my back plate and underneath it, where the 2 speakers are sitting to prevent rattling noise from the speakers... works like charm. maybe i'll deaden the whole trunk like you did in the future, doesn't really look like a hard work.
Maaaaaaaaan....this build alone have me so anxious to start my rebuild on my SQ car.....this alone giving me some boost to get off my ass and just get it done.
Thanks for showing this process. The difference in the panels is "night and day. We have a feeling this is going to be great. Hope the 15 inch IB subwoofer is going to be a ficar.
@@pssound9749 Was this 8m^2 for just the 4 doors and the trunk? Or was the floor, side pillars, and roof also done? I have the same car. Trying to figure out how much I need, and if I use CLD to seal the door or ABS plates
Hi Matt, Do you mean to do the same level of sound deadening and soundproofing? If so, then it’s around 3-4 days’ labour, so £1200-1600 including material. Not a cheap investment, but makes a big difference, especially if you have a proper upgraded audio system too! 🤘🔊🔊
@@pssound9749 It's on the agenda, I'm 12 deep in the car at this stage through wheels, brakes, Modulo bumpers etc. at this stage so making the ICE actually tolerable (especially now that the factory door speakers are showing their age) is on the cards. Where are you located?
Look at those sexy 6x9s.....They're coming out xD Can't wait to see how it ends up! What was the first track you had running in the background :O? I was listening to this through my good headphones and got distracted so it must be good >=)
@@pssound9749 very awesome , so excels more below 20 Hz not so loud(150dB +) in the musical range like 30 - 100 Hz range then so more for feel than heard for ib setups?

Hi John, not this time. You’ll see from the next video! 😉
Peter your builds are very easy to follow that sound deading is really nice :-) :-)
Thanks Dave! 🙏
Hi, what kind of sound deadner is that?
Loving the content, I always look forward to viewing the next upload.
Absolutely awesome content! Really inspired me to make a sq daily!
Hey, did you remember how many square meters of material you put here? I need to order deadening mats, but i don't know how many?
Look forward to the progress!
Sound deadening salesman: how much sq footage of sound deadening is needed ?
Peter : Yess !!
Corsa Pilotti haha yesss! 🤣 This was 8m2.

@@aang6421 full trunk, trunk lid, 4 doors (outer, inner skin, doorcards), under rear seats, that’s it.
@@pssound9749 thanks 😊
So for full trunk, lid, front doors, probably 4 or 5m^2
Awesome - how much would you generally charge for this as a service? My 8th gen Accord, I suspect, is similarly echoic as standard.

Did you put the weather sheet back or just leave it off after applying the sheets
Going to follow this very closely!
How many boxes of deadening did it take you to achieve the coverage you have?
I have same honda. How can i minimize road noise?
Please check out the “Cheap sound quality car” playlist where we have separate videos for treatment.

Have you done ib manfold setups in suvs or vans or any open trunk cars? or have you seen it done and heard it?
Gabriel R haven’t u seen what i did in the blue Honda Accord estate??
@@pssound9749 So what are your spl on music for ib manifold setup?
Gabriel R 140+ under 20Hz, 130+ above 30Hz, 145dB @15Hz with sine tone.
