To me it felt like a Bluey Episode, Dances with Goblins was a 10/10 for me. With the advantages of CGI, they can make Barney do expressions costume Barney can't. I think it's cool that the episode focuses on Barney actually being sad. Makes him more relatable for parents too. And he's also imperfect! That makes him even more relatable. And this shows that for some parents that have kids that asks multiple times at the same time. I really enjoyed this episode.
I guess that’s the issue for me - it’s not Bluey, it’s Barney. I like Bluey quite a bit, but I don’t think Barney is meant to cover the same kinds of stories. I’m glad you enjoy it, though💜
That's how I feel about the episode. Although I'm not a bluey fan. Saw a little and honestly doesn't seem like my thing but as the show keeps trending I see parents and kids love it (so that's nice) and honestly you descrbied it much better and shorter then I could.
I predict based on the video leaks that there's gonna be a mystery episode in the jungle and the episode where they're cleaning up the beach and singing about helping other planets while in their swimsuits.
I can’t wait until Baby Bop and BJ get more prominent roles in these episodes, instead of feeling like Barney’s minions that only show up during games.
Episode wise yes but seeing how a tralier that was acidentally released a day early for a special dropping at the end of the month that puts baby bop in the main role? Just you wait 😉
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought some of this writing was shaky. “The Castaway Crew” was my least favourite. As you say, they don’t actually make accommodations for Mel - Barney just magically resolves the problem. Even if _Barney's World_ isn’t aiming quite as young as _Barney & Friends_ did, it’s still a show for little kids; it needs to be more clear what is and isn’t real. Are they really out at sea, or is this all in their minds as they play in the park? Does Barney have Christlike healing powers, or does “iMAgiNAtiON” give Mel an excuse to overexert her broken arm without consequence (if it's the former, I might prefer the robo-arm)? Honestly, “rejected Gen 4” is a good way to describe this entire series. This feels like the ultimate realization of what “the new people” were trying to do in 2006. It’d be great if _Barney's World_ found an audience on its own terms, but it has very little to do with the show Sheryl Leach created almost forty years ago - and I think today's toddlers are missing out.
Has anyone thought that Barney went from just an innocent play friend to an innocent God? He can literally control how a drawing can come to life. And you can literally make the kids See what they're trying to imagine. And that's not a bad thing.I was just wondering if anybody else was wondering
ik someone said this already, but honestly, i didn't hate dances with goblins. yeah the execution of the moral was a little..😬..but honestly, its always refreshing to see our boi written with more emotions/vulnerability/whatever you wanna call it, at least imho great vid as usual!
@DaRealBradleyBrowneProductions honestly I think they're good. And by that I mean England probably won't mind them. Besides they're on Cartoonito in both England and America which I'm pretty sure is not owned by the BBC which were to ones who forced the season 9 uk episodes in the first place so I think they're good this time.
I adored the new episodes of Barney's world, I've been waiting for them for awhile since November, I may have to disagree with all your opinions, which I understand that you're definitely entitled to your own opinion like everyone else does, I just wish people would not hate and be judgemental on this show so much, this is suppose to be a newer version of Barney, not the old version of Barney we grew up with, this new version of Barney is for everyone, not just for the old Barney fans, but for new Barney fans as well. The new episodes are not terrible at all, I think they are all creative and hilarious and awesome in their own way, and also seeing Barney in an emotional state is different but good because it shows us that even Barney can be emotional sometimes like all of us can, Barney can actually relate to how we feel whenever we feel overwhelmed or scared or happy or any kind of an emotion really, so I thought that part was relatable and heart-warming to me in my opinion, I just wish people could give this show more of a chance and give it the benefit of the doubt instead of giving it poor judgement and hate on it
There were definitely episodes I enjoyed. I don’t dislike Barney’s World💜I think we can be critical of the things we like while giving them a fair shot, which I believe I have done. I’m very glad you enjoyed all the new episodes.
@ you do like Barney's world too like I do? It's just when I see criticism on shows or movies that are important to me that I love a lot, I kinda get nervous and scared to be honest with you because I don't believe in hate at all and I'm a lover than a fighter and I always give new shows and movies and remakes a fair chance and the benefit of the doubt, whether people think it looks good or not, I just don't like judgemental people sometimes you know? I'm honored to meet a fellow Barney fan though, I'm Sean
I may have missed the linear premiere of new episodes of Barney's world, but I will get the chance to see them in reruns on Cartoon Networks, Cartoonito block.
Well I mean i actually like dances with Goblins (it's my favorite episode along with David the Hero) because we actually see Barney go through something without it being a weird season 11 episode (I'm looking at you pistachios and what you unfortunately made Stephen go through because of the higher ups) become Let's face it everyone feels like they're down sometimes. Yes even if you're as happy as Barney. And let's face it from what I've seen Barney is trying to build up being the character he was during the good old days of the 90's but in a new way for the mondern audience. Because in here if you need me he's portrayed as someone who wants to help Mel but tries not to when Mel said she didn't need it but he did help by encouraging her which she appreciated (so he likes to help but doesn't know how he can sometimes) and again in i Lovey You i believe he is genuinely scared because he tells David that everyone is scared of something (and I don't see why he would lie about being scared or what he's afraid of) and I had a feeling we would have an episode like this but i didn't expect it this soon because of the i can feel joy music video there's a scene where he tries to use his magic to get a ball out of a tree but his magic has a glitch making the tree grow taller and he looks upset and the kids try to cheer him up. Now I think this series even though is trying to make Barney stay true to his original character is also making him modernized and also sometimes be the learner because even adults sometimes learn things and/or make mistakes. I mean for crying out loud mickey mouse and his friends are adults but they learn stuff that kids literally learn in they're preschool shows despite the shows don't change them into kids (if only you show the dullness they had to go through admittedly) so they're probably trying to show that even though Barney's an adult he still has to learn something too. Besides he a dinosaur with magical powers. I don't know how long he's been alive in this reboot or when he meet all of his friends but he probably overestimates himself sometimes because there's alot of times in this show Besides literally slipping or falling where he has any fails. So yeah Barney was basically fine for me in this episode. Although admittedly I was looking forward to this episode when I read the description to see Barney handle a situation he's never handled before which is a trope in preschool media (i mean kermit in the muppet babies reboot had a similar problem but he decided to cheat his way to the solution by using dr bunsen honeydews cloning machine and honestly that episode had the same lesson as dances with Goblins so yeah. Although I was hoping Barney wouldn't do what kermit did because making clones of himself to please his friends seems lazy, petty, a waste of his magic, and beneath him and his level of integrity) although since they didn't explain it was Barney's idea and not the kids I had no idea what to expect especially for the other episodes but I wasn't disappointed for a minute. Minor confusion maybe but not disappointed. Mind you the only episode I'm actually not a fan of in the line up is drawing attention mostly because they didn't handle it very well and the whole thing about Vivie faking an injury after the dog either stepped or bumped into her foot. Although I will give credit that the chalk drawings coming to life was good and that this is the first episode to actually have a song debut in it instead of the album or the music video or the compilation video making it debut earlier then when it was supposed to but other then that we'll that is all I can give credit for. Sorry it's long I didn't want to create a miss understanding.
Barney millennium, since they seem to be using stories from barney and friends (tina breaking her arm ), im wondering if will be having a episode inspired by be a friend (that introduced tosha ), where a new kid boy or girl comes to the park wanting to play with david, vivie and mel and barney helps them, what do you think?
@@BarneyMillennium also I never thought it was weird that tosha already knew barney despite having just moved to the neighbourhood since he is a magic dinosaur after all.
@@BarneyMillenniumwhile I like this show I kind of preferred how the original show had a fairly large group of kids and had them appear in different episodes with barney, baby bop and bj instead of just three kids in every episode (hence why im kind of hoping more kids of different enthicites and abilities might come along as the show goes on ), but what do you think?
I hope if there is going to be a Season 2 later in 2025 or 2026, Riff, Stella the Storyteller, Bingo the dog, Professor Tinkerput, etc return. By the way Booker T actually came back. Hope Season 2 includes more children other than David Mel and Vivie
I found it anoying that they changed BJs name into Billy. But then it became realy funny because i now know why they made the change. Besides, BJ is a nick name, so calling him by his full first name isnt really a name change
I hope there will be a swimming lessons episode, where one of the kids will learn how to swim in the deep end of a pool. And I also hope that Barney will be the swimming teacher, or select somebody to be the swimming teacher. And that he will magically transport himself and the kids to is swimming lessons pool. I also hope there will be a beach party episode as well, where they'll go swimming in the ocean. Surfing, parasailing, windsurfing, collecting seashells, building sand castles. And then later on playing limbo and having a big luau, and also a surf rock show. I hope this will be kind of accommodation of the old school Barney beach party episode from Barney and Friends season 5 for season 4, and accommodation inspired by a beach party at Walt Disney World sing-along. I really hope that there will be two episodes of Barney's world that will go in theme for the summer, and I hope maybe they'll come out later on this year
@BarneyMillennium if any more kids are introuded later on (either joining the main cast ) or making reccuring appearances I'd really like if they had a single dad family just to mix it up a little more.
I'd rate Barney's world a 7/10 It's not perfect but it isn't bad either. I honestly feel so bothered by Barney's voice, the dinosaur's design choices, and the fact that Barney is summoned from a tree.. I'm gonna say it, BARNEY BEING SUMMONED FROM A TREE RUINS THE ENTIRE CONCEPT OF BARNEY THE DINOSAUR. BARNEY IS A TOY DINOSAUR BROUGHT TO LIFE WITH THE IMAGINATIONS OF CHILDREN, BARNEY AIN'T FROM A TREE AND WILL NEVER BE. He really has, honestly. It kind of gets in the way of imagination in some instances, but less so in others.💜
@BarneyMillennium But that doesn't change the fact that he is still barney ♥️🦖
Well i mean he was like that in the original show. I remember moments where they use imagination and Barney makes it real.
I hope Professor Tinkerputt will appear in Barney’s World in our dreams someday.
A Barney show having a story arc wasn't on my 2025 bingo card.
Also, I can't wait till this show has a DVD release (I don't have cable or Max).
