DeAtramentis Document black ink is my favorite black ink…I always have at least one of my fountain pen inks, inked with it. I love how black it is and how fast it dries too.
That is your ink well some bottle have it built in so you can get the ink from the bottom of the bottle when it runs low to the point your pen cant get to it when you place it in the bottle. So when the ink in the bottle gets very low you turn it upside down before you open it and the the ink collects in the well so you can fill your pen.
how long did you wait for it to dry before you added water? It's not really helpful if we don't know how long you waiting before trying the water test.
usually I am not counting the secs just seeing it when its fully dried, different inks dries at different times. but for this video I think i was talking around 1-2mins waiting for it to dry so thats about that range for the waiting time. thanks for watching!
I really like De Atramentis Archive but I find it very very dry. Do you also feel like it is scratchy on the paper? On the other hand Carbon Black I find is too wet. I find that it makes extra wide line and can feather on some paper. I am not sure if there is something wrong with my pens or if my Ink bottles are too old. Does any one else have this sort of experience with these inks?
@@corysoxydiaries I do enjoy it in an extra-fine so maybe that’s got something to do with it 😅 but still they’re pretty wet EF nibs so I don’t know why I find specifically that ink so dey
