Dave, I have made a few non-trapped sets around my personal space just to observe how the animals approach the sets. It is amazing to watch how the animal chooses its step-falls and sniffs its way to the scent/bait! Watching them and you has taught me how to procure meat and hides when I need them. Tools needed: bait/scent, small planting shovel, small scope, and the curiosity of a raccoon! Thanks again Pathfinder!
Dave, I want to personally thank you for taking the time and energy to make these videos every day. you are awesome. you tirelessly give yourself to us, and on youtube you don't even get paid! you teach young and old people essential skills at a relativly low price, you are kind and smart. thank you for making these videos, and making me look forward to something the next day. -Jon
Dave is one of the most interesting persons i had the pleasure of knowing (not personally though), and al his bushcraft knowledge is amazing! my favourite youtube channel

@Jessie, Check the regs in your state. Here in California we are only allowed to use box/ live type traps. Pretty sure you can use them any place where trapping is allowed.
Very cool! For some reason my iPhone did not allow me to leave a comment on the last few videos but I this this series is great! Thanks again for all your effort.
dave is it legal to trap with a box trap and then if you get a target animal you shoot it? I have some box traps and i was wandering that so i dont have to go out and get new traps.
Ever since your last episode of DS, you've been feeding us with snacks and appetizers, but we have been waiting for a proper meal for a really, really long time time. You should make an announcement as soon as you can, as to when your show begins to air so that we can mark it on our calendars.
Waiting for follow up review on PowerMonkey Extreme. I may be able to pick one up this holiday season but wanted your feedback first. How is the unit holding up? performance etc?
that safety tool on your neck is awesome. ive not seen those before. im new to trapping as of last season, and i have trouble setting some traps and havent been able to affix a safety to my traps that holds well enough. they pop free if "bump test" it. that one tool alone may be the thing i needed.
