One thing that I, and I think we all, should be happy with and highly appreciate with this defense is being one of the top defenses in the nation in interceptions. Do you all remember how painful it was to have all of those games under LR without a single turnover? Remember when we had that long multiple game stretch without a single turnover in 2019 with Hurts? And then we finally got not 1, but 2 turnovers to break the streak in that big comeback win against Baylor? That interception to seal the game.
Love it but I think most people are worried about the O line. It seems to be the one place where we've lost some key pieces to our growth. Now I'm not suggesting the guys who are left and/or coming in (EPL, et al) aren't exciting but guys like CG was a shock to many of us and some of my friends are all up in their feels about this. Not me, I trust the process and I have complete confidence in our coaching staff.

Funnily enough, many of us who watched him were first exposed to Bandon Drumm when he started having occasional appearances there. Ik this isn’t defense but I really hope we consider looking at Travis Etienne’s brother from Florida. He would add more to the run game he also had to some big games too with good amount of yards and TDs

I’m pretty sure we way over reacted about the Cayden Green thing. I think again, we just let our emotions make us feel like this is something bigger than it was. Bill B is the best line coach in the country. Eddy Pierre Louis already looks like a star.

As a native Tulsan, it's been so nice to see kids coming in from the metro schools (BA, Owasso, BTW) like Gentry and RSJ. LR seemed to have an aversion to recruiting anyone inside the state. I think Oklahoma gets overlooked alot when it comes to in-state talent.
The other porthole I have seen is how many 4-5 stars USC is loosing. Starting with C. Williams and his 5 star backup Malachi Nelson, Latrell McCutchin, there are a lot of highly rated on 247sports leaving. Some others that are backing out of the recruiting process. USC bear Arizona, I would really like to have seen OU vs USC not just to enjoy watching a beat down but imagine how much money that game would bring in.

Coach B is lagging behind the rest of the coaching staff at bringing in the talent needed to compete with SEC teams at the top he has not had a top big 12 oline now he is going produce a top SEC o line be real no OU coloerd glasses on it is not going to happen
Regardless OU lost their entire offensive line among others. We have no depth yet going into the 1st year in the SEC and a new offensive coordinator. I'm generally an optimistic guy but I'm also a realist. If OU can't build front line talent with depth then they're in big trouble
Also as a Giants fan and just a football fan overall I know games are won in the trenches. If we were thin at running back or wide receiver or even corner I'd take that all day over the line.

He needs to recruit better players consistently. He struck out on Aaryn Parks, Nate Anderson, Brey Walker, Savion Byrd, ... There are more. Not good. Right now Texas is killing it. OU is doing ok but we are falling behind. We need to build those trenches. We need to build that depth.

OU doesn't get into outright bidding wars and IMO, that is the wise approach.

Saying we already have sawchuk and tatum and maybe walker coming back, it is highly unlikely we will push for him.
