You can tell he is not playing to a metronome. If you listen closely you can hear him rushing a bit at times, at other times he’s trying to catch up with the bass who is rushing.
if he did you would hear it on this video over the monitor, or see a headphone on his head, neither is the case..... he just plays tight as fuck i think:P
