Thank you for such a detailed breakdown of that comment! In my experience, the check in and check out times were pretty strict, but all the hotels we went to would hold your luggage if you wanted to go out and come back. I am not sure if that helps this person, as I am assuming they are traveling for business if they are traveling so often and have so many statuses, but just mentioning it in case that is helpful!

Thanks for your comment. As you said, in Japan, there is a tendency to be restrict about tie for everything.
