I appreciate that you went over what hard and soft limits are and why they're important. If more people did this, I think there would be fewer D&D horror stories.
I once had two of my players fighting in game, it was just overall uncomfortable. At the very least they explained that it was consensual, but one of the characters ended up dying. Wild stuff.
