You forgot to mention that Rocket League Sideswipe currently has NO in-app purchases, despite you thinking it was a cash grab. That was what surprised me the most about the game (I’m diamond 1 in all ranked modes and I’m rocket pass tier 73)
Also, My Friend Pedro has about 30-40 levels which are easy to fail in. Failing once without premium mode being purchased ($10 or so) means you start allllll the way back over from the very beginning of the game. Yes, this includes the tutorial
Sorry about the confusion. What I said in the video was that before Sideswipe had released, I *expected* it to be nothing more than a cash-grab. After it released, and we got to play and see how the monetization worked, I was very happy to see there was no pay-to-win at all, which is also why I ranked it S-tier :)
@@boring_content That was only in the very beginning. These days, if you die as a free player, you just have to restart that one level. E.g. if you die in level 9, you just start from the beginning of level 9 again :) I'm really glad they changed it to this model.

It's not only for iOS, but there are some regions where it hasn't been released yet. That's why I was pretty excited about TapTap sponsoring the video, because you can use their site to download games that haven't yet released in your country. Here's the one for Everdale: www.taptap.io/app/222680
Yeah, PGR as a player day 1, A tier is fine, could be S, but the fact we are still early game on the app itself with lack of qol atm stop it from be S, being said after anniversary, game will become more smoother and have better monetization so A+ tier for now, S later
Torn City? Wow, now that's a name I haven't heard in what feels like a decade. I can't believe it's still around. Thanks for the suggestion :) Is it your favorite mobile game?
@@NimbleThor haha, even if the game is very old, it still has a huge player count, people play it and love it. It has more than 35k players daily so it's really active. I play it on phone and pc too. I'm happy that you heard about it, I thought this name would be unknown for you :)) It would be really awesome if you could make a video about it so that your subscribers will also get to know the game because it's still worth starting today. Amen to that! And it's minireview.io, but it's currently only available as an app for Android. A website version is coming soon (hopefully in a few months). I'm working hard on getting it ready 🙌 It'll support both Android and iOS games 😊

Helped me figure out what games I should do so every time I’ll pick a good game that I liked I subscribed liked and saved and turned on all notifications
Just coming back to say a quick comment again! I would have never tried Super Mombo Quest if you hadn’t put it on your S tier. It being there made me decide to give it a chance. The game is absolutely spectacular. Would have never found that one without you. Thanks!
I have a love/hate relationship with them, haha. I'm actually gonna upload a video about what I consider to be the best MMORPGs this week. So stay tuned for that. There are a few I really love. How about yourself? :)
Good video! No super auto pets? I thought it was a fresh take in the auto battler genre (Light but with decisions to be made and a simple interface which makes it look more polished) and it's completely free with an optional expansion pack. So it has a completely fair monetization. Plus it's perfect for playing in a time bind because the main mode is asynchronic multiplayer meaning you can stop at any time. P.s: It's also in steam and it has really good reviews. The gameplay is the same but I prefer playing in the phone because of ease of play. In my opinion it's a perfect casual game with no fat (Extra menus, unneeded systems/mechanics) where you can get started right away. Definitely my most played game on android in 2021.
Thank you, and thanks for sharing 😊 Super Auto Pets seems fantastic, but I just didn't get to play it this year, so I couldn't include it. The game sounds and looks like something I'd love 😍
It won Game of the Year in 2020, but this video is only about games that released in 2021. I did a similar video last year that included games released in 2020, in which you'll find Genshin Impact 😊
Good list overall, but I heavily disagree on the weight you put on p2w / progress aspect if these games. While we all need to earn money, entertainment apps shouldn't push these boundaries too far. Giving a "B-Tier" to the 3v3 Knight game is honestly a joke, as the p2w asoect is far faaar worse than ckash royalem brawl stars etc.
Ye, that's exactly why it didn't make it to A or S tier :) It's a shame, really, since the core gameplay is fun and unique. It remains to be seen how the monetization will impact the long term end-game. Hopefully it'll end up like Brawl Stars, which is quite alright in the sense that the vast majority of players can enjoy it as free players 😊perfect? No. But easily enjoyable.
Seems like we just have different views on how to categorize games. Punishing gray is another example of a good looking game, which ended up in A tier, even though I'd put it on A tier IF it was actually not a cash grab, had globally different pricing and items for f2p players and was not decent in its gameplay at best. And while I see Wild Rift as a top moba, it has so many basic flaws that anyone seriously playing it over a longer period WILL agree it is never a S tier, not even A, even B (as in *good* ) is a stretch, when the matchmaking doesn't work, connection issues prevail, bad behaviour isn't penalized and so on... S should be specially good, as with minor flaws, paid version or fair monetization on top of a solid game - which, again - Wild Rift with 30%? 1☆ ratings clearly is NOT
Punishing Gray Raven is a good example of a game that does indeed not have fantastic monetization, but a gameplay that is unique enough that many will enjoy it (as an alternative to Honkai Impact 3rd, which has similar gameplsy). Not everyone will enjoy it, but so many will that I think it lands in A/B tier for most. Because of course not for everyone, and that's fine too 🙏 What I care about above all else is whether the monetization even impacts you as a free player. There are many games on mobile where you CAN spend a lot of money, but where it'll never annoy you as a free player. Games with a strong focus on pvp need to have good monetization in order to avoid having the monetization impact free players. PvE focused games can often get away with more without it impacting the free to play experience, as you may never need to buy anything to finish the game / fully enjoy it.
I can agree on your view, especially the PvP vs PvE focused games. Doesn't mean I'd give it an A (great) rating. Not sure how the american school grades work, but here on a comparable A - F scale you'd need to have 50 out of 100 points to *barely* get a "D".. With that in mind, how does Punishing gray achieve a 85% score.. but ok, enough debated. Essentially, very few mobile games imo even deserve a solid A (a discriminating title with gacha elements and lacking endgame content def. does not reach anything close to a B as far as I'm concerned) But it is your opinion. Whatever floats your goat.
There are a few premium games in there, but Alien Isolation wasn't released by the time I recorded this video (it released the day after, haha 🙃), so I couldn't include it here. The port seems really well done though, I agree! 🙌
Haha 😂 Wasnt even released this year, so nah. Can't tell from your comment if it's a game you love or despise? I know it's popular, but it wouldn't rank near the top for me because of the monetization and their history of stealing assets...
Thanks :) The video was purely about games that released in 2021, so couldn't include those. Maybe Angry Birds Remastered, but I didn't play that one - unfortunately.
There aren't many games where you can play as an assassin class. Hm... Maybe you'll enjoy something like Dungeon Quest? It's not spot on, but maybe it's something for you.
Ah yes, a classic. I haven't personally played it yet, but lots of people really enjoy it. I'm glad to hear you do too :) Thanks for reminding me about it, mate.
Yo, thank you, Simon. But most of all, I hope you'll enjoy the future content i put out. Working on a video about the best mmorpgs on mobile right now 😉
They're actually all available on both platforms :) A few of them may only have been released in some countries (region launches), though. Such as Everdale. But you can still download them off of TapTap if you're on Android :)
I unfortunately didn't get to play it this year, but I did hear good things about it though! :) Glad to hear you're enjoying it, and thanks for dropping by to leave a comment.
I think you put CRK too low, it takes time. The daily and weekly rewards are very generous and i got to top 10 000 players without spending anything. AND i didnt play from launch
I didn't put anything above Wild Rift (S-tier being the highest). Pokemon Unite is great, and if I were to review it now, it'd probably score higher too. Back when I played it, the monetization was a large issue. Glad it had been fixed since 🙌 If you're into platformers, I think Super Mombo Quest provides the best gameplay experience of the year (for that genre). Rayman is absolutely awesome but no Rayman game released this year, I think - unfortunately 🤗 But of course it's all subjective 😊
It released last year, so I couldn't include it in this video about games that released in 2021 :) Here's my video from 2019, in which it was included: ruclips.net/video/Asw9IWLmZYA/видео.html

I'll check them out, mate :) I don't remember hearing about them before, but I'm checking out their website right now. Thanks 👍 And thanks for all the support over the months / years. Stay awesome! 😎
Thanks for the upload
Glad to hear you enjoyed it 🙌 Much more coming every week. Hope to see you around in the comments 😎
This year there will be a lot of Triple Games to mobile i think, Valorant Mobile, Warzone Mobile, NFS Open World, Tower Fantasy
you should make a video of games you are excited for 2022
Good idea. I will 🙌 Planning to release it in mid/end February, so stay tuned 🤗
@@NimbleThor alright man can’t wait
This tier list is S tier in my opinion!
Oh you ♥️😎
The 2023 Tier List update is out: ruclips.net/video/tRU72WnVK5I/видео.htmlsi=IUFxNBj8qlrn0JGM (with 47 of the best mobile games of the year!)
Cant find Everdale in the play store. Is it for IOS only?
It's not only for iOS, but there are some regions where it hasn't been released yet. That's why I was pretty excited about TapTap sponsoring the video, because you can use their site to download games that haven't yet released in your country. Here's the one for Everdale: www.taptap.io/app/222680
@@NimbleThor oh i see, thanks for the help
No worries 😊 Have an awesome day, mate.
Thank you so much!!! I downloaded like 5 of these games that look awesome
Aw yeah!
Thank you for this awesome video
It's my absolute pleasure, Alan. Loved making it :) And much more to come next year, so stay tuned, hehe.
Love seeing Lost Vault in here 😎
Ohhh yes, I had to. Lovely game
16:11 F tier btw.
Ah, you don't like Wild Rift? :) What are some of your own favorites?
@@NimbleThor My favorite moblie game is G.L.I.T.C.H ruclips.net/video/jPycICJpo_M/видео.html. I recommend it if you like shoot em up styled games.
Yeah, PGR as a player day 1, A tier is fine, could be S, but the fact we are still early game on the app itself with lack of qol atm stop it from be S, being said after anniversary, game will become more smoother and have better monetization so A+ tier for now, S later
Nice, I hope that is indeed how it'll go :) Let's see what happens, glad to hear you're liking the game too.
Hello, could you try Torn City ? It's an amazing game
I'm happy that you heard about it, I thought this name would be unknown for you :))
It would be really awesome if you could make a video about it so that your subscribers will also get to know the game because it's still worth starting today. There are plenty of improvements and updates and even fixes every week, the developer team Is really active and they are really trying to improve the game. if you could show this game it would be great. I would also help you for the sake of the video. Have a nice day.
Oh and I forgot, your videos are really great, they are well made and really helpful :)
RL side swipe is soo damn good. Whats the website to read the reviews btw?
Amen to that! And it's minireview.io, but it's currently only available as an app for Android. A website version is coming soon (hopefully in a few months). I'm working hard on getting it ready 🙌 It'll support both Android and iOS games 😊
Great video dude. I think I downloaded 15 or so 😂.
Awww yeah! ;) Nice. I hope one or two of those will end up being long-term games for you, mate.
so which one can be played offline ?
A bunch of them, actually 😊 Are you on Android? If so, I always list if the game can be played offline or required online access when reviewing games for my games discovery app, MiniReview. It's also coming to iOS later this year, including a website version that I'm also working on 🤗
@@NimbleThor the ones i liked i searched for a couple and are online. Ok man thanks
@@NimbleThor and good work
Thanks mate, and I hope you'll have a kickass year! 🙌
Helped me figure out what games I should do so every time I’ll pick a good game that I liked I subscribed liked and saved and turned on all notifications
Great games :D
Thanks, mate 😀
Just coming back to say a quick comment again!
I would have never tried Super Mombo Quest if you hadn’t put it on your S tier. It being there made me decide to give it a chance. The game is absolutely spectacular. Would have never found that one without you. Thanks!
Aw heck yeah! These are my favorite types of comments. So happy to hear that, mate, and thanks for coming back to leave this comment 😎
How do you feel about mobile mmorpgs
I have a love/hate relationship with them, haha. I'm actually gonna upload a video about what I consider to be the best MMORPGs this week. So stay tuned for that. There are a few I really love. How about yourself? :)
Sideswipe has no right being as good as it is. Mind blowing
I absolutely agree, mate! It's crazy. I love it too
I played it at release and just forgot about it
Why is the game that won best mobile game of the year genshin impact not even on your tier list
Because of course not for everyone, and that's fine too 🙏
What I care about above all else is whether the monetization even impacts you as a free player.
Essentially, very few mobile games imo even deserve a solid A (a discriminating title with gacha elements and lacking endgame content def. does not reach anything close to a B as far as I'm concerned)
But it is your opinion. Whatever floats your goat.
Alien isolation deserves a place in S or A tier imo
Edit: just realized that it is a f2p list 😄😄
There are a few premium games in there, but Alien Isolation wasn't released by the time I recorded this video (it released the day after, haha 🙃), so I couldn't include it here. The port seems really well done though, I agree! 🙌
Fun fact: super mombo quest is made by brazilians.
Also i am brazilian
This tier list is so dang good maybe it’s time for me to start downloading some of those S and A tier games👍
Thank you, mate ^^ Hope you'll enjoy one or two of the games :) Stay awesome!
I was waiting for him to talk about the Mobile legends bang bang.
Haha 😂 Wasnt even released this year, so nah. Can't tell from your comment if it's a game you love or despise? I know it's popular, but it wouldn't rank near the top for me because of the monetization and their history of stealing assets...
@@NimbleThor it’s something i used to like, but now I switched to league of legends after learning they “steal assets” from LOL 😂
Oh snap, hehe. Nice, hope you'll enjoy Wild Rift 🙏
@@NimbleThoranu update on lol Wildrift release!? It's still unreleased in India🙂
Not sure, no. For some reason, they just don't release there. It's so strange.
Friendly reminder: Please also add another triple-a games in this list like Angry Birds Remastered and MLBB.
Thanks :) The video was purely about games that released in 2021, so couldn't include those. Maybe Angry Birds Remastered, but I didn't play that one - unfortunately.
For those who like mobile games, this is a must-watch! Continue like this buddy!
Thank you, Deyvid! :) Happy you liked it. Oh, and happy holidays!
Im lookin for sum games that have classes like assasin and mage games like that any suggestions
There aren't many games where you can play as an assassin class. Hm... Maybe you'll enjoy something like Dungeon Quest? It's not spot on, but maybe it's something for you.
@@NimbleThor thx man
Pokemon unite is a good game but if you play competitive you'll see how unbalanced the game really is
Yeah, that's one of the reasons it didn't get an even higher score, unfortunately. Thanks for sharing 😊🤗
I only get people who steal jungle in my game so i got bored really fast
Aw cmon youtube didnt show me this one at all
Luckily I saw it on subbed channels tab
How dare they, haha 😱 Glad you found it, mate 🙌
Crk being here makes me mad, why bc I CAN'T FRICKING UPDATE IT TO THE 7TH JULY UPDATE, WHICH MEANS I CAN'T EVEN PLAY IT
Man, that sucks. Sorry it don't wanna update for you 🙏
RL Sideswipe is AMAZING and I'd thought I'd get boring but NO, after 2 months it's even more exciting
are you still playing it?
@@rrealgr yes
can you talk about "this war of mine" it was my first game with play pass and i think is really good
Ah yes, a classic. I haven't personally played it yet, but lots of people really enjoy it. I'm glad to hear you do too :) Thanks for reminding me about it, mate.
As someone who played LoL for over a decade.... F Tier.
Yep
Man, it's such a shame to hear that the game has taken a turn for the worse :/
This saves a ton of time and needs more likes
Yo, thank you, Simon. If you're on Android, you can also use an app I've built called MiniReview to find very specific types of games based on filters, reviews, and user ratings 🙌 Also working on a web version of it for this year. But most of all, I hope you'll enjoy the future content i put out. Working on a video about the best mmorpgs on mobile right now 😉
I think half of the games are in Apple and not in android
They're actually all available on both platforms :) A few of them may only have been released in some countries (region launches), though. Such as Everdale. But you can still download them off of TapTap if you're on Android :)
Sorry mate but wher is My time at portia ?
I unfortunately didn't get to play it this year, but I did hear good things about it though! :) Glad to hear you're enjoying it, and thanks for dropping by to leave a comment.
Lord of the rings war is kinda underrated, I mean it is a normal game it could be D-C rating,
Since it is a game like war and order etc. ,
Thanks for the video. Found TapTap and several other games that I should download and play.
i want KICK FLIGHT back. Who's with me?
Amen. I miss it so much 😢
@@NimbleThor are they making something different where did these developers go.
You forgot clash royale on S+
It didn't release in 2021, so I couldn't include it on the list :) I do still play it, though. After more than 5 years, hehe.
I play clash royale, brawl stars and clash mini
Nice :) A Supercell fan, I see. I really enjoy Clash Royale too, and Brawl Stars is indeed awesome.
Thank you. Queen game is really fun.
Nice, glad to hear ya' like it :) Much more mobile gaming content coming up next year too, by the way. So stay tuned - and happy holidays.
why does no one mention bit heroes
Because it's a bad game with repetitive endless grind which gets boring real quick
It didn't release in 2021, so can't include it :)
Im looking for a grinding game with levels and xp and adventures , but i dont want games that look like anime i want pixel or normal games
🎉Happy New Year🎉
Heyo mate! Happy new Year to you too :) Wish a great (and safe) 2022 for you and your loved ones.
any game for a dying dude like me?
I think you put CRK too low, it takes time. The daily and weekly rewards are very generous and i got to top 10 000 players without spending anything. AND i didnt play from launch
Wildrift is ded 😬 the Dev dont care
Dead as your mom
sadly, Super mecha champions isn't on the list. That's the best battle royale i've tried by far. Pubg-ish setup kinda boring now. Mecha is the future
Nice! Great to hear you're enjoying that so much 😎
Cos devs doesnt fix anything so game is a bug mess
Hard to take this list serious when you put a pixelated Rayman Clone above Wildrift and Pokémon Unite.
As soon as I saw jinx I ran to the video
Nice, hehe. Welcome to the community 😊 Hope you stick around if you're into mobile gaming 🙌
i clicked as fast as i press my attack button when playing jinx
Good one 😉 And thanks for stopping by.
What about call of duty mobile?
It released last year, so I couldn't include it in this video about games that released in 2021 :) Here's my video from 2019, in which it was included: ruclips.net/video/Asw9IWLmZYA/видео.html
how to download nier?😭
edited: PGR IS IN S TIER I SWEAR
WAIT WHAT LEAGUE OF LEGENDS REALEASED ON MOBILE?!?!?!???
Btw it says mine to pre registration
Ohhh man :/ I've heard it hasn't yet released in India and a few other countries. Maybe that's why. Dang, that sucks :(
16:15 "I know the matchmaking isn't perfect" I uninstalled the game because of this. Fuck that game :)
It’s a high quality game that should be played in small doses. I never play for more than an hour or I’ll end up hating it because losing is frustrating
Ye, I know it has led to great frustrations. Here's to hoping they fix it 🤞
