06:24 Guys, pay attention here, please, it's number 30, I accidentally forgot to delete the number from the previous slide. I always hated numbers, this just had to be! 😂
Also, what happened to 16 and 17? Seems the Portuguese spelling was greyed out, is this some RUclips bot hiding something potentially rude? :D
Awesome video!
@@baoboumusic 😂 no bots, it was me, Iºm famous for typos that I see only after having published a video... 16- dezasseis, 17- dezassete.

Eu já estava com saudades, Maria!
hi, i was on vacation, we are continuing with the videos this week.
Thank you so much for these lessons. I appreciate very much how you describe the technicalities of the pronunciation of each letter in the words and the repetition with differing tones . I would like a confirmation about dois however. At the beginning, you mention that dois and duas take on gender. Does this extend to numbers like noventa e dois (ex. noventa e duas)? Quarenta e duas casas? Vinte e duas casas?
Hi, Brent, thanks for the comment. Yes, it does.
Bom professor❤️❤️

Obrigada, eu, mnha querida, um abraço!
Maria, thank you for the lesson, nice pacing and clear pronunciation on everything! One question I have is on the Portuguese dipthong "ei" as in "seis". I have heard it pronounced two very different ways, even in sources that are strictly European Portuguese. Sometimes it is similar to the "i" in English "price" or the "y" in English "my", and that is about what I am hearing in your video. But often it is more like the sound in the English word "play" or "place". Is this regional? Based on a Wikipedia article on Portuguese phonology, I'm thinking maybe the pronunciation you are using is mostly Greater Lisbon or at least central Portugual?
Hi, Carl, you can hear both in different parts of Portugal. I studied Portuguese with professors from Lisbon, and they close these sounds more so it sounds [ɐj]. I understand that analogy with "my" in English but is different though because it is an open [a] in English, and here we have a semi-closed short sound [ɐj]. I made a whole video on that diphthong here:

its really helpful
Thanks maria nice teacher

Você conhece os erros de pronúncia que os falantes de inglês cometem e oferece a correção e é meticuloso com os detalhes. Essas correções de pronúncia são realmente úteis para mim.
Caro Ogator, fico muito feliz por ouvir um comentário destes. Isso é o meu trabalho. 🌞🌻
Fántastica ! Obrigado 😎
Obrigada, eu! :)
Thanks you
Muito Obrigado ! Could you please bring few more exmples with 100 - when we use cem? when cento? Thanks much.
Hi! use "cem" when it's a round number- 100, for all numbers above, we always say: cento e... (cento e um, cento e vinte, cento e quarenta, cento e noventa...)
Thank you so much
You're welcome. :)
I'm lucky to find you.❤
Obrigado
Thanks
Maria, you’re a God sent😍🙏
Saudações do Brasil, eu falo inglês desde sempre, vejo seus vídeos mais porque aprecio o português de Portugal, já morei em Portugal, França, Espanha e Inglaterra, estive na Itália mas por pouco tempo, sou descendente de italianos, sei um pouco de cada idioma destes países em que estive!
hi 🌹✈
Excellent!
🌻
obrigada
Ciao Maria, excellent job: patient, clear, you make it sound easy. Thank you. I have a question about the number 2: does it always agrees with feminine nouns from 20 on? how do I say 22 houses, 'vinte e duas casas' or 'vinte e dois casas'? Muy Obrigada. Thank you very much
Hi, thanks for the comment. Yes, it always needs to be in the same gender as the noun that follows. vinte e duas casas, vinte e duas horas, vinte e dois anos
Great!
