  • In this video, I will share my journey of how I became a full-time a pet portrait artist, drawing pets for over 6 yeqrs now, finding my calling, and sharing my story with you. Being a pet portrait artist was not always my plan, but 6 years ago it just happened when I drew my cat for the first time, and since then, I knew I wanted to become a pet portrait artist and that was how I found out I love it so much.
I hope that seeing how I became full-time pet portrait artist will inspire you and take some useful things out of my journey.

I have tried 4 colour pencil pet portraits - they were my own pet dogs. Two were a total failure, and two were ok. I also started with graphite drawings. I want to get better at colour pencil and pastel pencil pet portraits, so I am really glad I found your channel. Thank you for the video's Dragos.

Pastel is very easy to use and very forgiving, especially when you are drawing pet portraits.
