So from hearing the voice clips and thanks to DeepestDankest's comment on a prior video of yours Can confirm the actual name of Linne's new moves without access yet to the Japanese moveset: 66BC: 飛龍; Hiryuu (Flying Dragon) 236X>BC: 鬼哭; Kikoku (Ogre Wail)
I think the in-game translation for kuuga follow up is actually Ghastly Wail, but either or works. right now most of the linne players are calling it “2ga” as it’s a move after kuuga. 2nd kuuga = 2-ga. Kikoku isn’t a bad name but maybe a tad too long
@@Lidomega the localization of Ghastly Wail is mainly tbf, due to the oni/ki character in Chinese (as gui/g-way) having more of a "ghost" context than an ogre/demon context in Japanese. I mainly just prefer to translate most things literally while still making note of what the expression is used for. P.S. Kikoku is of course with the same exact kanji, the name of Trafalgar Law's cursed nodachi.
I bought this game after seeing how cool the pools and top 8 were to watch at Frosty Faustings. Thank you for the Linne hopium. I'm going to learn the game through her!
@@Lidomega Is it okay to be using the combo trial combos? I noticed from your Linne Twitch VOD that you use quite a few variations of routes, but as a brand new player it's hard to know what works when.
@@amikawi Linne's combo trials are pretty good. If you're looking to learn some good stable combos that deal decent damage, her 4-1 and 4-4 mission modes are great to learn. If those are too hard for you, you can try dialing it back to the 3-X combos
@@Lidomega Nah, I can definitely learn them. Thanks! I just can't tell why sometimes people do delay j.B, j.C, j.2B and somtimes they do j.B, j.6B, j.C, j.2B for the air part (if I'm remembering correctly)
@@amikawi Yeah you're right. Some combos are too prorated, and if you go for all four air buttons, the combo will drop. If you want to play it safe, dl jB jC j2B will basically never drop.
A hien is 3f less recovery, dash 5A 6B IC B hien will no longer be a thing I hope, sometimes it sideswaps on some character. The new kuuga>BC would be a good blockstring reset ig? Also dash FF the god lol
nah Gordeau is cooking. new 236XX4 ender, 66FF is very good, 5C recovery, buttons in general have less pushback, j236X keeps them close for better combo starter. System changes help him as he can use VO and guard thrust to reset neutral, and also strike/throw is stronger, making his offense even scarier.
I am really not vibing with her voice direction. Voice acting is fine, but the direction.... Wheres the power in the Kuuga! Mujin! Miss it already lol.
@@Lidomega Yea, I don't mind the new voice at all. She is stuck in a little girls body, so the pitch makes sense! I just wished she kept the power of her old lines in her new voice. Then again, this is a trend I noticed with a lot of characters in this version. Relatively better voices, but not as heavy on tone or inflection as previous.
was saying this as the video was rolling. one of my favorite things was the gap between how reserved she otherwise acts and the thunder in her move callouts, especially MUJIN. the direction imo should be in reverse: establish the callouts as necessary for the first game, save the more aggressive barks for the sequel as applicable.
As of the game’s launch, the kuuga force function follow up is now -1 on block instead of 0, but 236A is now much more plus on block!
Really hope the rest of the cast get similar "funny" stuff in the next game.
This series is so hype.
Gord 66FF has to be one of my favorites

Can you do a video like this explaining hydes new move;~;? Nice video i loved linnes new stuff ❤
I love how gordeau got the short end of the stick... AGAIN... 5C being faster is nice and all but his new move both in UNI2 and UNICLR are useless 💀
His 66ff is insane...
Character is one of the biggest winners of this version lol

I don’t really mind it. I liked her old voice, but the new one is good to me and makes the game feel more fresh!
