"In ancient times, hundreds of years before the dawn of history lived a strange race of people, the Druids..." Yours turns out better-and is scaled down on purpose. Another great video!
One of the best and user friendly approaces to working with crafting materials and painting! I just recently discovered your channel and binged all videos! I'm definitely "stealing" this idea, as I've made 2 standing stones for my Warhammer Orc army and wanted to make a base for them. Hoping to see more videos!
The Joy of Terraining! Bob Ross is such an inspiration for my building style. I love this hobby! I wish I could have a little shop somewhere and have people come by and build with me. The world would be such a better place if we turned all our trash into gaming terrain, except used kitty litter..
@@ravenstead i have both, i only use the gel if the surface is slanted as the gel is less likely to run before solidifying but sometimes for other applications I'll just sprinkle a little baking soda on it to act an accelerant but in scenery with tufts just a drop of regular then pushing the tuft onto it has always worked. WARNING: Super Glue will burn a hole in exposed foam
This is another great build. I do have a question though. Do you use these pieces for games and if so, do you have any problems with some of that larger turf being knocked off or torn up? Thank you for sharing your work.
I do use them all for a couple of campaigns I run. I spray the finished piece with polyurethane matte spray. It locks everything down pretty well. My players also know that I can be a wrathful Dungeon Master when they rough up the terrain or miniatures!
I love that purple flocking and the yellow flowers in combination. The building looks nice as always. 😊
I wish I had used a toothpick to dot the glue for the flowers but it turned out okay. Next time..

Lol! I was looking at it last night and thinking it could be used for 25mm or 15mm.
Love the use of cat litter for the exposed tile effect. Looks really natural like nature had reclaimed it
What's not to love about CLEAN kitty litter? I am into recycling stuff but that would be too much!
Looks fantastic man. Thanks for teaching me this wet on wet skill. It's so obvious once you see it, but just takes seeing it
It's a fast technique and looks pretty good once dry. The only drawback is making muddy colors so palette match is important. Thanks for watching!
Love the splash of colour and the texture with the brass brush! Definitely an inspiration for another build!😁
The brass brush is so much better than a steel brush. The steel tends to tear out chunks. It's one of my favorite texture techniques!
Dude, I love how you apply those washes. They look amazing!
Thank you! It was a lot of failure to get the end result.
@ Well, the end result is fantastic!
“…I decided to stick down a little bit of cat litter… FRESH cat litter…” 🐈⬛😂
Lol! Yeah, this hobby is often about recycling and repurposing but I draw a line on that one.
Mixing washes wet is genius and works so well. Another gorgeous build dude. A* on your crafting end of term report card 😉
No rotten plank again but I promise it will return! Thanks for not dinging my grade on lack of rot!
I was using this methods back in the years. Its quite nostalgia see it as I enjoy it the most
This is such an enduring hobby! My attempts at terrain decades ago were rough. I still have a few pieces I should compare in a video.
Yep. Just in time for the Winter Solstice next month. Love the cobblestones in the center.
My family and I were just talking about the solstice and it inspired me to build this piece. Thank you for watching!

Wow! Thank you for watching through the library! I will keep the videos coming! Good luck with your Warhammer terrain!
Thanks for sharing this with us. Always happy when you post a new project.
Thank you for catching another video! I appreciate your support!
I dig it, like the new warmer tones to switch it up.
I'm trying to sneak up on some more brown and red undertones.
Stellar build as always! You really do get some amazing results using simple techniques!
Thank you! We are coming up on my second year of sharing building videos. I really love this hobby!
This is brilliant, I hope you get joy from making these videos

Love this build. Thank you for the content. Looking forward to seeing more soon
I will keep them coming! Thanks for watching!
Another cool piece of terrain 😊
Thank you! I really enjoy these simple little builds!
fun little build, thanks for the ideas... i use crazy glue for my tufts = no strings to deal with and holds fast
Do you use super glue gel?

Thank you! I appreciate your support!
Beautiful piece!
Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment!
Another great build!
Thank you so much!
All great! As always
Thank you! This was a fun little build. I'm planning a new stone tower or some additions to my Barovian village next!
love your stuff!
Thank you for watching!
I paint it a different way, the washes change the overall outcome. Still experimenting, I like the results so far. Can I send you pics via patreon?
I would love to see your work!
@ravenstead What is the best way to send you a submission of my work?
