If at 18:37, standing in front of the stove, hit with a torch (you can use a machete, but it is short), the stove will press and the cutscene will not start. At 44:40, you can run along the side wall instead of jumping off. I hope they didn't find out about this a lot of years ago. If not, then there is still some knowledge. :)
