- I got so obsessed with this game that I started an animatic AND finished it! Wow! It's a miracle that I got it done over 3 weeks without losing all my motivation. Hope you enjoy!

I love the idea of Kim and Delores Dei being like Archangels to Harry. I mean, thinking about it, Kim is the only one who actually helps to pull him out of the mess he starts in, constantly fighting him on his decisions if he does stupid stuff/racism or fascism, so it really makes sense.
Harry has an angel and a devil on his shoulders except it’s not an angel or a devil it’s just Kim and Dolores
kim and harry tend to have typical halo imagery (kim in his portrait; harry in his little thought halos and the disco ball above the bloated corpse of a drunk) but there's also something to be said about jean's halo imagery!!! it's barely relevant to this comment and also based on a few articles i read (i'm not particularly studied in religious art) but square halos tended to indicate a still-living person, like a sponsor or patron of the artist, or a pope, or something. kim having a more obvious, typical halo indicates him as an individual to be idolised, while jean's is more understated and mortal. it kind of indicates him as an enabler. harry is the deity against jean, and kim against harry
also an argument can be made for kim as a mother figure (or subversion thereof) which contrasts excellently against dolores dei/dora

Kim's halos are STUNNING. I literally gasped when he first appeared at 0:28, the music swelling and colours and just everything was so beautiful and invocative. i love every bit of this animatic, amazing job!

Genuinely, I've been thinking so much about how this song fits with Harry! It's lovely to see someone else having the same idea. (That, and my brain keeps saying "Hey, the serfs bit sounds a little like Limbic and ARB!" which. Is only true if you're like me, and suck at identifying voices /j)

This deserves way more attention incredible, the whole things so good. Also, its a little thing but i love kim and harry are drawn in that zoomed out shot of the balcony. Theyre so simple but you perfectly capture their designs and personalitys through whats shapes you use. Incredible use of shape language
