Fake bacon lol, this was the 90s! now so much artificial meat finally. Like this show, Chris was good at it, esp that setting and funny questions, always gets a laugh! Good for Brits the show not seen in the US before Utube.
First time I ever saw this. Here in the USA, I have no idea whatsoever what this show is or who that guy is, but....I really dig it! Great McCartney spot.
No fucking shit?? So thats why Evans produced a flaming pie and was reading from the Flaming Pie booklet? Thanks for explaining it, all makes sense now.
Paul's a good lad, aware human, has many good qualities!. All the Beatles -character-wise, are the best sorta human. The Beatles did not completely go to any of their heads! But how strange John & George have been away for a while now (George -3ish years after this interview, this was before his attack!) 'Chaos & Creation ...' and 'Band on the Run' are my favourites from the Macca man!
This is what you watched on a Friday before going out & getting plastered. TFI was a bit like the internet. Only more drugs & alcohol involved...& no major land wars.

Such a shame only two Beatles are living. Ringo Star is an amazing human being and you can't say enough good things about Paul McCartney. After the break up of the Beatles we got a glimpse of what a great artist and human being George Harrison was. It’s kinda funny, because in the 1990s people like Bowie and Paul McCartney were just mocked. Nobody respected them. They were has-beens. I remember watching this as a teenager and wondering why Macca was a guest on a cool TV show. They weren’t old enough (he was probably late 40s here) to be considered legends. They were just two middle-aged singers, who hadn’t had a hit record in a decade. Then 10 years later, they get into their 50s and 60s, and they’re gods. It’s funny how it works
You are simply talking out of your arse! The guys you mention were legends in the 90s and seen as such! It was your personal perception of them that was out of sync with everyone else.

And John Lennon was actually pretty posh...more so than Paul,George or Ringo, who were all more working class.
Hardly posh, just not as working class as the other 3.
they were scouse, no such thing as posh
Lennon went to grammar school as well. McCartney lived on a council estate
