What the heck is happening in FROM season 3? | My thoughts, feelings and theories | A chaotic review

- While making this video I noticed they like to frame the characters fully off center. Curious about this framing choice honestly.
Alright, let’s talk about From Season 3! This season had some wild twists, big character moments, and, honestly, a few things that left me yelling at my screen. I’m breaking down everything-from the biggest reveals to the characters that drove me crazy (looking at you, Jim) and the ones who kept me hooked.
Boyd was out here trying to save everyone, but did his choices help or were they just hypocritically charged? Tabitha’s journey this season was a game-changer, dropping bombshells that have my head spinning. And then there’s Jim… I couldn’t with his hot-headed, anti-reckless attitude-was it just me, or did he make everything harder for everyone else? Donna was her usual pessimistic, Debby downer self. Meanwhile, Jade kept being his usual weird, brilliant self, chasing answers in the most chaotic (and hilarious) way possible. Julie seems to be chasing love of any kind and Elgin is off on his own creepy side quest. Fatima has a real tough time, while Sara deserves so much more than being reduced to a monster when she is basically in the exact same boat as Fatima. No one seems to notice the parallels!
I’ll also dive into the monsters, the mythology, and that mind-bending finale. Are we any closer to figuring out what’s really going on in this creepy little town, or did they just leave us with more questions?

"Where is the freaking communication" I felt that in my soul. I stopped watching after season 2 because this just irks me to my core. It makes no sense that these people would not be sharing knowledge with each other to pool together their knowledge and come up with a game plan. So much of the plot revolves around people not sharing their knowledge amongst each other whereas it would be far more interesting the opposite way around - if plot progression happened through communal effort/ everyone coming up with a game plan together. Like c'mon! This is just bad story-writing.
Thanks for this season summary/review! I just needed to know what happens in season 3 in short without investing hours and getting annoyed at the stupidity of some characters.
This ^ Exactly!
I did come looking for answers 😭😂
A lot of your points regarding the characters and how they treat eachother (especially regarding the murders) are correct and great, but that's also kinda the point of the TV Show. It's more about these ordinary people in extraordinary surcumstances and how they deal with that. Of course there is going to ne hypocricy and stuff and it would've been very boring if that wasn't the case.
Why Boyd hides Fatima and protects her? Well, because she is his son's wife. Why does he goes so hard on the police woman - because he met her yesterday and she killed someone they've known for an year that was a part of the comunity and he is pissed - that's being a human, so I actually like these things in the show. And as you pointed out - the show finds ways to point out the hypocricy, weater with Father Kathri or another character, they do discuss these things, they're not presented as the only right way of action.
Yeah that’s totally fair and I agree with you. I think I’m more critiquing the characters and their actions in those instances as if they were real people rather than how the writers wrote them for the show. Because yeah you’re right, they’re written well in the sense of how one would act in reality.
Hi I also got the same Julie needs a romance vibe too but I was expecting Fatima to turn into one of those things and she'd get that kiss..maybe next season? Maybe the scratches are from Fatima at the ending of s3.
I don’t know if Fatima will turn into one of them, at first I thought that might be what was happening but now that we know the creatures were made by sacrificing their children, I don’t think Fatima will become one. Unless the town considers her giving up the thing inside her to the creatures (despite it being smiley) as her sacrificing her child lol. 😂 Although, if she does, and taunts Julie by kissing her, that would be so cruel haha
@ninanuvell wouldn't it just 😂 if it's not Fatima then it's the boy that said her name outside Colony house upon arrival
@@ninanuvell oh I got a question, do u think there's someone on the inside like Randall said cos Ive got my money on someone ever since he said it and on multiple rewatches I still believe it 😂
I definitely think everything is there for a purpose so there's no making it up as they go along going on here. Everything was explained in Lost..well I can explain everything in Lost cos i watched it a thousand times 😂
I could see a mile off that certain possessions of people are a huge factor like the music box destroyed that specific curse should we call it. thinking we need to destroy Jasper to destroy Christopher's nightmare curse and so on..I could work out everyone's object if u want? I was sure Fatima holding on to Ellis's clothing item ( I forgot what its called ) was screaming at the camera but they ain't died so scratch that specific one but I hope you know what I mean
When I recently solved the Cicada's mystery and why Randall was still affected I searched online to see if anyone else worked it out and what came up was someone solved the nursery rhyme by asking AI I absolutely hate that so yeh let's keep working together cos the fans of this show are no different to the survivors when it comes to working it out together 👍😂
Fair :) Tbh I haven’t watched Lost all the way through since I was pretty young when it came out and didn’t get into it. Now that it’s on Netflix I might check it out.
I think that’s an interesting perspective. Just makes me think back to season 1 where Kenny and his dad were playing chess and making those wood chess pieces. I don’t think that there’s necessarily a connection with chess though in terms of escaping. I hadn’t thought about the fact people come in to replace those that were killed though, that’s interesting. I wonder if anyone will replace Tillie or Dale.
I don’t think this makes sense personally but I do think the items in the creature tunnels must have some sort of significance.
Don't make anymore videos like this. Hearing you ask,”why,” every 37 seconds is annoying!
