When I was a baby nightly when TV programming would end this sound played...parents slept through it...thus my perfect pitch was born. Congratulations Mom and Dad...I almost became psychotic! :-)
A´s coming all at me! I gotta dodge A´s walking down the street. By the way, A4 is 440 Hz. Not MHz as your title says. 440 MHz is UHF radio! A minor error....See what I did there? ´´A minor...´´
Assigning a name to particular pitch (number of vibrations per second) is a social construct, and has varied widely throughout early modern history. One of the problems people with so-called 'perfect pitch' may need to deal with is in historically informed performance of 'baroque and early classical music. There is then a need to adjust to various pitches from A-392 and A-409, the most used 'baroque' pitch A-415, Handel's tuning fork A-422.5, and the typical Mozart era pitch A-425/430. It is also necessary to adjust to a wide range of different unequal 'temperaments' e.g. Werkmeister, or Valotti. For the historically informed performance of music from the period 1600-1790, so called 'perfect pitch' A-440/445, with equal temperament tuning, is useless and a huge disadvantage; but if one wants to play music from the baroque and early classical period in the anachronistic style of the 1950s on modern instruments, modern pitch is good.

There's also another tone just above the lower Fa (about 4 cents higher) sounding at the same time. It's just out-of-tune enough to tell! (if you notice any difference)
Not sure if I am the "defective" one, but the constant A always seems a "micro-tone" lower than it should, in the context of the accompanying sounds...
Imprinting the sound probably helps. But ultimately, perfect pitch is hearing differently in real time, even if you don't remember or memorize anything.
This proposal is absolutely useless. Your A have one frequency but it is only one A possible.Like l'infinity of values : between 440.00 Hz and 442.00 Hz! Meanless to memorise that...
I'm going to sleep hearing this, then I'm going to wake up and try to hear the A note before playing it in my violin, then I'll play it to hear if it's the same, then I'll try it in piano :v
Great! now I’ve gone from being tone deaf to *deaf*
Alric Samuel Godfrey hahahahahahhh you’re funny
Very funny.

I am half way through to this video and I think I am in the fourth dimension. What's worse, the pitch here sounds different...
I love it. This has an uplifting mood. I can also tune my viola to this without rushing. Plenty of time to listen. Thanks very much for posting.

Sounds like early Pink Floyd! :P
One key per one year...

\o/
I think you meant to say note.
Dewey B
like a key on the piano
Hahahah
I have driven myself crazy trying to stay in tune. I resorted to recording guitar lines to sing over. It works!
*Ears start bleeding* Hang in there, I need to become pitch perfect! *Goes deaf*
The goal is to see if your ears will start hearing differently after practicing this for awhile.
But hey, so was Beethoven
lmao, that's got me
my nose is bleeding.
Aww, do you need me to wipe it for you, Babe?
Small price of now having perfect pitch!

Great video, keep up the good work. Can't wait for the other notes in this style.

In Canada this is EH 440!
Love it! Love it! More Please!

This reminds me that in the 80s when I wanted to tune my guitar I would lift the phone and wait for the dialling tone and the sound was also La.
There's also another tone just above the lower Fa (about 4 cents higher) sounding at the same time. It's just out-of-tune enough to tell! (if you notice any difference)
this is so relaxing

Yes, when I listen to this on my iPad and check with a tuning app on my iPhone I get 439.7 - 439.8 Hz and the surronding sounds are 440
yes , it is . and i think there is E note in this too
my tuner says its a little sharp
@@stelamolnar1134E is the next unique overtone.
Excellent.
Very helpful.
Thanks so much.
pls do another one in c in this style pls
Btw this A is near to 440 Hz but usualy today A is 442!
Latchezar Dimitrov thanks
It depends where you are. In American 440 is normal
At around 3:20, the As seem to go a bit flat. Is this just me?
Hahaha
ya ur goin insane bud
T. Huang no he’s right, it is a micro tone flat, around 439.7 hertz instead of 440
@@tejasappana4097 wow, you can hear differences between 440.0 and 439.7??

YES!!! 1 month in

The music cancels out the effect of the tuning
how are you supposed to know it's a if you haven't been told. A reinforcing connection between sound a name is missing.
Awesome!
Right. A is for awesome.
killer music video
nice...
Does this really work ?
Can u do this for every key
anybody else with perfect pitch come here to see how the plebians live

yeah all the notes are A but some of them are sharp and it is bothering me SO MUCH!!!
I know what you feel :'(
tjtjtjtjtjify you're boring then
tjtjtjtjtjify just kidding* but it helps anyway
The static A is *actually* 200-something mHz flat- maybe that's why it sounds like the dynamic lines are sharp?
