Great explanation of block detection some folk make it sound so difficult but good ole fashion Yorkshire straight to the point. Look forward to seeing some more on this as you progress.
Thanks Andy. It’s strange that when I put my modeling workman head on, the accent really comes out. It naturally links to common sense just like those amazing Yorkshire sayings. Interesting too, that common law, which is actually a natural law, coined also English law, which too, is straight to the point and simple to understand and yet, British Legalese law has basically snook in on us and led us up the garden path into a right pickle. Didn’t see that coming out but, back to block detection 👍
@@John_N_Quay_Harbour The space clearing cleared my head so thought it must help others. Another great tonic is actually taking a cold shower by just turning the hot water side off for as long as you can muster. I do my legs at first then brave it, always hate the idea but, always feel so much more with it afterwards. Obviously go at you’re own pace with it 😂. Clearing space is a bit less harsh!
Great video Andy! I don't have a Scooby - Doo (clue) what you you are talking about regarding the electronics but I appreciate all the work and the positive attitude towrards block- detection, HDMI, etc. Brilliant, keep the videos coming 🙂
The Last of the Summer Wine Reminds us of the summer time The grapes were ripe, and strong were vine And love was all of life... Nice video, you have the same style station sign as I do, even down to the colour.
Very interesting video Andy. You seem to have nearly all DCC systems going. There was a company making vertical fiddle yards called Nelevataion. Don't know if they still exist. Are you going to have vertical fiddle yards at both ends i.e. in the shed as well ? Will be great to see this working.
It feels quite a way off yet but, if I dig in then yeah. I do know of the Nelevator which was a single track carousel on like a double cam belt. Wanted one but, alas they vanished so thought, well I’ll have to do one mi sen. Only one end will have a Locolift but, would love a helix at times at that end 😂
Hi Andy. I have shown the guys at the railway club here at the gallery. Told them I want it going outside now. I will send you updates of the railway as It progresses. Bryn at aberffraw
Oh Bryn, that’s lovely to hear and even better to hear from you. I did send you an email, did you get it? You may star in my next video which was due to come out before this one but, a review I was doing had to go back for some TLC 👍
I get it, but way too much for me to bother with😂😂 but at least I understood your explanation (probs cos I understand Yorkshirish 😂) Love the guide on the reels of wire and the 3m numbering reels as I'm just about ready for those (once payday arrives - Hornby sale destroyed my bank balance)
Hello James, Was hoping to get a “Back In Stock” notification as a sound version one wasn’t on back order so no. There’s been a bit of a communication break down since Simon left. Have you?
One of the best, brief descriptions of Block Detection, Steve
🙏 That was the intention and coming from my own experience 👍

Love the train lift. Very clever. And your advice to clear some space is wise.

Belting video Andy. Wish i could get my wife let me install a similar system from the conservatory.
So on my video you’ll see one of two new and sliding patio windows. I paid in full and that kind of helped sway the deal 👍
Love the loco lift Andy!!! Love to build one for myself!!!!! Thanks for the videos!👏👏👏👏
Very kind of you to say. Go in bursts of wonder then wonder why. Maybe cos it’s such a Maaaaad World. Tears for fears. 😂
@@modelocoA detailed video of what you used and how you made it, would be brilliant! I was thinking of building something similar!!! 😊

Cheers Stephen. Lofthouse won't be going Block Detection but, the garden run I've always wanted to sit & just watch the trains go by.
