    One of the best, brief descriptions of Block Detection, Steve

    Great explanation of block detection some folk make it sound so difficult but good ole fashion Yorkshire straight to the point. Look forward to seeing some more on this as you progress.

      Thanks Andy. It’s strange that when I put my modeling workman head on, the accent really comes out. It naturally links to common sense just like those amazing Yorkshire sayings. Interesting too, that common law, which is actually a natural law, coined also English law, which too, is straight to the point and simple to understand and yet, British Legalese law has basically snook in on us and led us up the garden path into a right pickle. Didn’t see that coming out but, back to block detection 👍

      Love the train lift. Very clever. And your advice to clear some space is wise.

      @modeloco  5 месяцев назад

      @@John_N_Quay_Harbour The space clearing cleared my head so thought it must help others. Another great tonic is actually taking a cold shower by just turning the hot water side off for as long as you can muster. I do my legs at first then brave it, always hate the idea but, always feel so much more with it afterwards. Obviously go at you’re own pace with it 😂. Clearing space is a bit less harsh!

    Very interesting video Andy. You seem to have nearly all DCC systems going. There was a company making vertical fiddle yards called Nelevataion. Don't know if they still exist. Are you going to have vertical fiddle yards at both ends i.e. in the shed as well ? Will be great to see this working.

      @modeloco  5 месяцев назад +1

      It feels quite a way off yet but, if I dig in then yeah. I do know of the Nelevator which was a single track carousel on like a double cam belt. Wanted one but, alas they vanished so thought, well I’ll have to do one mi sen. Only one end will have a Locolift but, would love a helix at times at that end 😂
