    President Jimmy Carter was a class act. He lost badly but he took it by the chin and conceded with class. I think Jimmy Carter is one of the most underrated presidents in history. He’s only remembered for the hostel crisis when in reality he got them out despite Reagan taking the credit for it. Not to mention it was the Reagan and Bush that made a secret deal with the people that were holding the American citizens hostage to keep them until after the election just so Ronald Reagan could win so disgraceful. Really wish people would actually do research and understand that Jimmy Carter was NOT a bad president. He’s one of the most underrated and unappreciated presidents. And did everything he could to try and get those hostages out sooner. Jimmy Carter also didn’t lie to the American people. Jimmy Carter actually took the real principal of not telling a lie unlike George Washington. He always tried to be honest with them.

    • @jdb316
      @jdb316 15 дней назад +1

      Agreed. But he should've waited until after the last polls closed to concede. It's believed that a lot of Democratic-leaning voters waiting in line to vote in the western states went home once they learned he'd already conceded, and this cost Democrats additional downballot races (such as Senator Frank Church's race in Idaho).

However, President Carter lost his campaign to President Reagan, he still believed unity for working together, continue accomplishments and change mistakes quickly together. America 🇺🇸 is a great country for strong economy growing and defense capabilities for peace efforts and Americans’ happiness always as a great nation of humanity by freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of the opportunities compared with any other countries. I remember how crushed President Reagan was in 1976 when he lost the Republican nomination to Gerald Ford at the GOP convention in Kansas City. But during the 4 years after President Reagan stumped for as many Republicans as he could for the 1978 mid-terms Congression/Senate elections. He also continued his weekly radio show promoting his policies. By the time the 1980 election season began, President Reagan had accumulated a large amount of political capital that helped him get the nomination in 1980 at the convention in Detroit.

      I said about FENOMENON of NATURE.
      I have a theory, that all Universe has vibration in the hards to count time. The 3D Matheria Of Vacuum and stars in it as like a Spyder web. In one end it is expanding - but in the other is jumming. We are the nothing in the comparison of the sizes of time and dimensions. The GRAVITATION is pulling into one spot all surrounding stars and planets. They are impossible slow to moving into that named black holes. Eventually, the mass of jummed moleculas became critical by too much tension, and the black hole became the explosion as like super sized new born something. And from that point the staff is beginning to expanding and redistributed into others points of the black holes. So, the Humankind is the nothing in between that nature event.
      Also, the Academic Friedman of Russia made hypothetical guess that we are of on atom or maybe electron of the biggest system in which time has different dimension. But our atoms have the electronics and protones in which the universes of the different dimensions.
      The Reagan was the Astrology Fan. They managed the USA by the combinations of the Stars and planets in Solar system. And it may be the good or bad FENOMENON of the Nature...
      Of cause, even Baden may be forecasted from that time in which president Reagan was elected into political leadership.
      His Star Wars mentioned in his speech in around 1980 - 1986 ~made almost fixed after Second World War USSR into new problems of Cold Nuclear Rash in the Weapons, that broke the USSR economy and made tye state separated. That build the BUSINESS based economy, that Gorbachiov named SELF-FINANCIAL BASE AND MARKET. And that stopped government watching the Mature and made the jolly-build acts to make business money. That spoiled the biggest Continent of Euroasia, that began the global warming problem. The dead lands began to expanding and the sea animals began to be extinted. The temperature of Ocean got changing and the oxygen level became down and some animals disappearing. The Plancton, the food for the Wales...
      Maybe life on our Earth came from Venus, in time that before even Kembriks period or Ordovics.

    So weird seeing the Republicans in blue and the Democrats in red. Can’t even imagine them going back to it that way in this day and age, though that is how they originally were colored for the political parties.

      Reagan... one of the worst presidents ever. He had charisma and was popular but he gave us the national debt. attacked the regulations that protect us, attacked unions. Switched from pro-choice to pro-life just to get the Catholic vote for money and power for the wealthy and corporations. He made up the Welfare Queen scare from the true story of just ONE woman. There is also an audio tape of Reagan's' racist rant with Nixon. Yes Carol Swain ... Reagan was a democrat that switched to Republican. He was also a bigot of the LGBT community and he refused to do anything about AIDS/HIV while innocent women and children were dying. Ryan White was 12 when he contracted AIDS and he died on April 8, 1990, one month before his high school graduation. During the 1980s, AIDS was largely stigmatized as an illness impacting the gay community. The Berlin Wall coming down was a forgone conclusion before he took office. I don't give him credit any more than I would credit Trump for creating COVID or Biden for the inflation that COVID and OPEC caused.

    The last GOP President that cared about immigrants. Had it not been for him, both my parents (now deceased) would've not been granted a path to Citizenship years later during the GW Bush Administration. RIP, En Paz Descanse Papa Reagan!!

      Heads up for those bigots out there, my parents had to pay their dues to the federal government to earn their permanent residencies. They didn't become US Citizens until summer 2007 -- months before Obama became president. They both later voted for late Senator John McCain and Mitt Romney, then went Democrat.

    My first election I was able to vote in, i voted proudly for President Reagan. I grew up in the south, long line of Democrats, this year was the first year my parents, and three of living grandparents voted Republican. To be fair, in 1980, there wasn't as deep a gap between the two parties as there is now. As an observation, this year was the beginning of when many on both sides switched parties.
