So low of elevation! I live at 4,000 ft elevation & it looks nothing as good as this! Ha ha ha ha. Can't wait to try it out when I move over there in a month! And the Kokes are great feed for the Bulls!
Where are we supposed to troll if we aren't with a guide? Where's that spot that you started at that's close to the launch? Where's the spot that's close to the dam? OR. Or can you take us out? Well perhaps in July this year? Well it's a special request. I grew up fishing kachess and I know being around there and playing around there and of course being in that water is good for my health. : )
If you go to northwestfishingreports.com and do a search for Kachess Lake you'll see my reports which include hotspot locations to get started, Good luck!
It's just past the I-90 Snoqualmie Pass. Going east, the first lake is Keechelus, second lake is Kachess, third lake is Cle Elum. Hence, "I-90 Kokanee Trifecta".
Thanks Mike, but I'm closer to Merwin. I would be really EXCITED to better understand the " WHERE - N - HOW " to fish Merwin. Keep me posted when you fish it again. Thanks.
Have you ever tried fishing for rainbows in shallower waters around the edges? What part of the lake are you in - north end or south? Were you up their later in the summer during the draw-down when they open the dam?

Where is the launch located? Is it just the launch on the campground?
Yes, there is a public launch down by the campground and a private launch which you need a key to access on via kachess
Very cool, thanks for the video 👍
I LOVE your boat, how about more details and information on it!!!!
It's a 20 foot Luxor Thunderjet, 2015. 150 main, 9.9 kicker. Pretty happy with it alright, my "retirement" boat!
