The nephew’s eyes thing to me means he is something wonderful that came from something terrible… the con that his sister called love. A bad relationship.
I love this song but I never understood why they chose to auto-tune that quieter section near the end so heavily. I can only guess it was an artistic choice because the man can SING and doesn't need it o.o
The song came out in 2012, and it was a bit of a common thing in pop from around 2008-2014 to feature autotune. So a hefty mixture of both artistic taste and common themes in pop music at the time.
My heart's breaking for my sister and the con that she called love...but when I look into my nephew's eyes, man you wouldn't believe...the most amazing things...that can come from some terrible nights." Those arw aome deep and personal lyrics about the paradoxes of life. Bad ideas/decisions still.produce outcomes we cherish. I know exactly what he meant there from my own sister/family/nephews and that whole crap show that produced great kida somehow.
Such a powerful song and it doesn’t get old

More “Fun!” You’re the first reactor to react to them, I’ve seen.
Please consider reacting to Bob Seger's Night Moves❤️
Nate is also on Eminem's Headlights song
