  • On this episode of Point of Relation, Thomas dives deep into the foundational concept of wisdom - exploring what it takes to cultivate wisdom within ourselves, and how the individual effects of wisdom are deeply intertwined with the whole of humanity.
Thomas believes that wisdom arises when we grow and mature through difficult circumstances, integrating what we learn from these experiences and allowing ourselves to expand. Practicing presence can be challenging for many of us, but the more we integrate the past, the easier it gets.
Presence, as Thomas explains, is a beautiful gift that transcends time. And learning how to live in presence and connection with the whole of existence, the good and the bad, is how we develop wisdom.

I believe that I should rephrase that and recognize the spirit within you and all of us here and now and the connections we share through ancestral traumas.
Understanding that we all are given one key to our personal journeys and experiences.
All Spirit connections seem to have a common Bond to protect us and safeguard assault from the beautiful ancestry in which all of us are created from.

1:36 wisdom is the capacity to host the world inside of myself
2:38 we feel there's a good world we feel close to/a bad world we feel disconnected from
3:07 living a life of wisdom is a commitment to become an ally of life
4:20 pathologising not being present (our fragmentation) is not helpful!
5:28 healing is to start a collaboration with our intelligence that created a fragmentation as a defense (this is my understanding!)
7:26 the promise is not LATER. It's coming closer the more we are here with the experience that is happening now
8:13 "I'm still dealing with that issue"
13:20 wisdom grows when we integrate something that is challenging for us
14:19 trauma is a disorganisation of life; creating healing is to bring back the natural order... Then things start to make sense
19:56 "it doesn't matter with me" VERSUS caring more.

Wisdom is inherent in the deeper supraconscious substrate - this profound capacity to hold it all is in that intelligent awareness. Our bodies find rest and wisdom-capacity in that larger space. It is something that is less accessible when we are living with trauma - it can still be felt, but is somewhat hidden under the physiological stress. Despite this, sometimes the deeper levels break through even then....an invitation to rest in the substrate of Presence comes. To embody and integrate that felt sense into the here and now.
