I'm gonna be critical here: During reassembly, first you should have reinstalled the two large bolts at the bottom AND TORQUED THEM then put the ground strap back on. After that you should have reinstalled the wheel and set the car back on the ground so you have pressure on the three bolts at the top. THEN you should put the nuts on the tower bolts and torqued those too with the car sitting on the ground so there is pressure everywhere there normally would be and when you torque the bolts it would read the proper torque and everything would fit in place like it normally does and there isn't any wiggle room for the nuts to come loose!
I've been doing struts this way , for as long as I've been a mechanic. Not once out of the hundred of strut assemblys I've done , has one came back due to loose bolts.
Thank you. I really appreciate your information. How can I add contact information, as to me having another question or two and wanting to pay for your support?
Great video, made it look like a piece of cake. An hour later, I'm still having issues getting the two bottom bolts in. I'm able to get the bottom bolts in, but the top hole won't line up. I can't figure out WTH I'm doing wrong.
Thank you it’s running so much better now. Y’all need to go to him for y’all’s work . His a keeper for mechanic

You should probably mention torque specs. Just sayin.
I'm getting ready to do this job thank you! A shop near by wanted $1000 for labor for front and back. Instead my son and I will do it together!
You're welcome! Glad this helps!
Does that impact wrench have a torque setting, if not you wouldn't be working on my vehicle
It does, once it puts it on its one. Best thing about Milwaukee.
Wheel alignment needed?? Do the bolts to wheel knuckle need marked for camber?
Any time you replace front end parts you always want to get an alignment.

Zero sturdiness on your freaking workability
Thank you
Have you ever heard of wd40 or pb blaster?
Yes I have
That was a sarcastic remark...I know you have...but why do you work with dry nuts and bolts?
@@30yearsfuelingbigjets I know. Those camber bolts where soaked the day before. Plus having my Milwaukee 1/2 impact does all the work.
