Beautiful video! You two exude good vibes, and romania is a country I've always been intrested in historically (I'm a European history major lol) but the beauty shown here has me hooked, im definitely at least checking out more videos on the country, maybe go visit on my break! Also yes you are correct, romania is a huge mix of cultures historically speaking, as its also geographically not only central, but a sort of crossroads for Eurasia. The minor ethnic groups of the country I believe are germans, Hungarians, Ukrainians, and Roma (also known by the rude term gypsy.) Hope you guys enjoy/enjoyed the rest of your trip

Hello you four! We may do that trail at some point, thank you for the information. It seems like the shoes have changed since you did your packing video a while ago (even the re-make). You now have hiking boots (?) and Stephanie has more dressy shoes. Shoes are a bit of an issue...we also have been travelling for nearly two years and would love to see what stuff you ditched and what stuff you acquired. If not a whole post I would like to know what you are now wearing and how/why you came to that decision (if possible). Thank you!

Well spotted! We have indeed changed up our hiking gear. Our hiking boots needed to be replaced after many years of hard wear. Gillian went with a higher cut pair from Salomon (the Predict Hike Mid Gore Tex) and was very happy to have the extra ankle protection versus her previous pair. I went with the MQM 3 Mid Gore Tex from Merrell, which simply felt the best and most supportive when I tried them on in store. I'm also now wearing Outdoor Research hiking leggings. Finally, I added some flats from Allbirds for more of a dressy look yet still quite comfy for covering distance around town. Hope that helps!
