The energy at this press conference was insane
Crazy energy - I was just there but didn't get in. It was a full house, doors opened at 4:00 PM EST and people had been waiting since at least 2 PM. I got there at 3:30 PM, didn't get in, and there was a long line behind me that stretched blocks. People outside could hear the energy inside the theatre and were cheering and booing along with it.

Sean is growing and healing through the sport that saved him. I think what resonates with the fans is that he is true to himself and acknowledges that he is not a perfect human being. I think people are tired of this facade that most of these fighters have put on stage just to sell a fight, play it safe to retain their position for money status. The sport needs this because true MMA fans love seeing that triumph in a person who is going out there to compete for the love of the game and can care less about the belt and their records. This brings me back to pride days where your routing for a guy that wants to actually fight, and win or lose you respect them a lot for giving it their best.
