I love the trucks they have in vegas. Im from there I still rwmember when they switched from manual to automated.
I love Republic of Vegas! Really enjoyed your take on that first truck and the manual trucks especially! Nice work!
Thank you sir!
Great compilation Will!
Thank you!
the front loader at 7:47 is actually a Contender btw. you can tell by the bracing on the hopper
be quiet anderson😐
@@willthetrashman wait i stand corrected - it is an atlantic. my bad haha
Epic videow Willis
Amazing great video dude.
Thank you!
No problem.
still amazes me a place as far west as this got away with buying Atlantic series. just ain't right! but I did enjoy the meridian and the manual action in particular. how often do automated customers get bulk pickup?
Haha for sure lol. I'm pretty sure they get it weekly, don't quote me on that though.
willthetrashman Bulk/extras is every other week :)
Just looked it up, garbage trucks are allowed 22,000 on a single axle, 40,000 on the tandems. They've got it easier than you do in Colorado.
We the the truth tell them sidewalk said so.
Amazing first and last clip, I had no idea they still operated manual like that. How many of those routes are there?
Thanks, Andy. The first truck was on the bulky/extras collection, whereas the last one was pure normal stream. Sadly, I think all the manual areas are gone. The bulky is everywhere I’m pretty sure.
@@willthetrashman trust me there is nothing sad about manual collecting being a thing of the past
I'm from Vegas, and by now they have gotten rid of manual by now except for bulk. I head they got some new curatto cans now tho.
Great compilation! You got a good mix of Henderson/Vegas trucks. Love that iconic moment when a Henderson and Cheyenne yard ZR were across the street from each other. Diesel and CNG working side by side haha. 1296 no longer belongs to Vegas. Believe it or not I saw it in Bullhead City over in Arizona. Think they renumbered it 8044 or something like that. I dont think they have 1236 either. That used to be my old route truck like in 2010 or 2011. Henderson has the diesel version of those Heil FLs. An FL driver told me he likes them better than the new diesel McNeilus FLs. Great finds. You didnt happen to come across any Heil Pythons in Henderson did you? The driver of 1595 seemed real chill!
Thank you! I sadly didnt see any pythons. I believe someone has a picture of the WXLL down in AZ, if I find it, I’ll link it

Look em up

JA DEN nah, that’s not good, I’d rather get the routes and the trucks
Sadly, I dont have those routes. Vegas is big enough to where if you look around, youll find something, trust me
