  • Hello everyone!
Welcome to another showcase of a new Folded Space Insert. This time we're looking at their new product, for Mansions of Madness 2nd Edition.
Even though I refer it in the video, I decided against showing the full assembly for time reasons.
If you're interested in an assembly video for Folded Space products, check out my other video for the Folded Space Clans of Caledonia Insert which completely covers the assembly : • Folded Space - Clans o...
Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!

Ok, but where I put the kitchen tile from streets of Arkham? Is the only one with different dimensions

Thanks. Having just spent another hour putting it all away, decided to invest in a tray, and this was most informative. Very much appreciated.

Hey. Nice video, thanks. It helped me to assemble my insert. But I have a question. What did you use to glue the pieces together? Thanks.

Hi! I always use white glue with these and it works great

I recently got this because I own the two smaller expansions (SoT, BtT) which fit into the original game box but then added "Streets of Arkham". It's probably the best single-box organizer if you want to pack as many expansions as possible into the smallest amount of space. Where it falls short is splitting the monsters, bases and their stat tiles into separate storage units, which means all your minis are completely disassembled. Furthermore the med/large minis are in containers that have no bottoms, so trying to lift them out of box there's a chance they'll just fall through as they shift. This is a bit annoying given you have a LOT of leftover waste in the cutout boards that could have been used instead for bottom pieces. If you don't use the monster minis, however, having quick access to their tiles is a big plus with this insert.

Does the folded space insert normally come with a die at the top? Mine didn’t

Only during the kickstarter campaigns. They don't anymore

Am I right in thinking that if you're going to store the bases like this, there's really no need to keep all of them? There's never going to be a situation in which even half of the 30+ monsters are out at once, so they might as well go in the bin.

      That's mostly true yes 👍

What do you do with monsters that require you to glue them to the bases like the Riot from the base game?

Buy those different size clear lunch box containers and label them.

Got my Phase 3 Folded Space inserts today and went back to watch your Phase 2 video for assembly tips. The paintbrush is a great idea. I'm totally stealing it. 😁

Will it fit also the new path of serpent expansion?

    • @SoloedQuest
      @SoloedQuest  4 года назад +3

No, the new map tiles won't fit. But if you paint and/or keep your miniatures outside of the insert then yes. I do that and have all the cardboard components in the box with room to spare.

    Can it hold sleeved cards?

Yes, it fits all of the cards even if sleeved

Impressive job. Too bad it's not painted minis friendly though.

Not good as in it will ruin the paint by storing them like that?

    • @alexsp7086

It is if you clear coat or spray your minis 2 times.

All of those unsorted npc tokens gave me faceup Horror. Great review, but subpar product. I get that it's hard to fit it all in as little space as possible, but this is just messy and doesn't even leave room for stuff like the large map tiles, let alone futureproofing a bit. I'll definitely pass on this one.

WARNING: This video DOES NOT show you HOW to put it together, just what it looks like afterwards and how to put it in the box. I was disappointed since I'm looking for how to put it together. 😡

Don't bother with this if you sleeved your cards.
