This is what i miss about living in the southwest.... no snow, ever.....I'd love to take my Monster Slash 4x4 to run in a little snow..... Lived in Las Vegas for about 6 years, believe it or not, it actually did snow once or twice during the winter months. Just enough to cover the ground with a few inches, perfect for doing this in. I didn't have any RC's at that time unfortunately. I did have my 92 Silverado extended cab Z71 though 😆 and went out off roading in the desert when it was snowing. Hilariously, most everyone else was freaking out, but I'm originally from Northern Wisconsin so over 12 inches of snow overnight was common, and still got where we needed to go.
So i just got one last night lol. Can't wait to run it. The hobby shop I went to only had a display model and one other. So i grabbed one. I am going to rip it in a big parking lot somewhere. Christmas wiped out the local rc shops near me. Well that and a lipo fir got the other one. Great video.
Such a fun truck.. I just got a gens ace 8000mah bashing pack and she really rips on that thing, I’ve busted 2 CVDs and snapped the driveshaft with just 2 runs on that pack 😂 side note it’s also really fun in RWD, made me drive better with 4WD 🍻
The truck is one of the best of its kind! I love to rip it together with my 6 year old son who is driving the „little brother“ Mojave GROM BLX - also a very capable fun machine!
This thing needs to go on sale. I’ve been saying I’ll buy one as soon as there’s a decent sale… it’s been about a year and a half and there has been no deals 😢
Amazon has had a 10% off coupon for the last couple weeks. I picked up a second one last week to try a unique build with. It was $472 tax and all of I remember correctly.
The price is not bad especially if you compare it to other rc’s in the same price range (Traxxas Slash Ultimate) As for it going on sale it will when the stock gets high and the number of sales drops they will have a sell.
I agree but like you said looking at the market , it’s hard to imagine sales falling enough . The Mojave 6s continued to go up without revisions. Traxxas maxx slash had to come down imo because of this truck .

Unfortunately my 6s is pretty beat up , body completely broke in half after stitching . Probably 3 diffs with bulkheads 3 or 4 bearing changes , I took bumpers off with outcast 8s body 165o kv motor does sick hole shots . But my question is what point do use for parts ,or not worth time money , I broke rear bottom hinge pin now 😅ready slap electronics in V1 EXB kraton call it a day on ol 6s Mojave 😢 . Or use the shocks towers build 6s senton using 4s Mojave body ya that’s what going do , probably kraton chassis
Hey man, seen one of your posts on Instagram on the ascent 18. You have the injora 24/1 transmission with a furitek unity pro. Did you have to do any modifications for the motor to fit the injora transmission? I been looking at the 2s combo with the venom motor but furitek told me they arent compatible.
I agree 4s. The composite plastic is very forgiving. I've got 2 4s kraton. Currently building one with the new v6 power system in the 4lb lighter 4s kraton
My 6s is so beat up I don’t want use 4s much till I get another, I think I’m going use the 6s and rebuild it on shorter chassis using 4s body so two same cars except ones plastic chassis ones metal . I have 6s esc in my 4s Mojave. Hope v3 comes out of 6s guy clip less body
I'm my opinion I'm not happy Arrma keep using those plastic drive shafts. If you go beyond 2s the drive shafts should be metal. And the metal one's are less complicated less moving parts. I'm really hoping the VXL jato coming out soon does not use the famous Traxxas plastic drive shafts add plastic gearing and plastic shocks Traxxas really needs to steer away from those

I was shaking my head soon as I read 8000 mah 😂 better off using couple 4000 for less rotation mass , it’s not car 🚗 w big amp draw under load

I have them both and honestly can't pick a favorite. Usually the one I drive most recently is my favorite. Can't go wrong with either or both.
