I spent a full week on the Big Island years ago and enjoyed every single day of it. We drove clear around the island, visited the rain forest, Mauna Loa Observatory, Volcanoes National Park, a farmer's market in Hilo, watched a volcano erupting at the southern tip of the island and so much more. Such a great time. My husband and I are booked on the Pride of America for February and can hardly wait. Also booked for Alaska on the Bliss & later on the Breakaway to Cozumel, Rhoatan, etc. Thanks for all your informative videos to help us maximize our crusing.
I really enjoyed your adventures in Hawaii, and on the NCL Pride of America. Thank you so much for sharing. I’ll be watching them all again next year before we do the same cruise!!!
Oh my goodness thanks for the memories. When I first moved to Hawaii, I lived in Waikiki in a high-rise right by the Pacific beach hotel. My favorite place to spend Sunday afternoons was at Dukes I love it there thank you for the memories I really appreciate them
Thanks for sharing this awesome trip! Those wings are huge! I usually order them naked & fried extra crunchy with sauce & ranch on the side & celery of course! I just get hungry watching y’all! Cheers from Alabama! Linda
As a local Hawaii resident, I am so happy to know that you had a great time here. Thanks for promoting our island home and wish you the best. Look forward to your return soon! Aloha!
We love your videos! We’ve been to the big island several times. It’s our favorite. Hapuna beach is the best. Lots of great snorkeling places also. A lil bit of everything on that island if you can only choose one island! Oahu was our least favorite. Too crowded and tourist-y.
OH girl, you learned the way to let the OCEAN take and relaxe you. I grew up in Virginia Beach, that's how I rolled. Just go out past the breaker lean into the swell of the wave and just float. I lay on my back or on my belly and just close my eyes and relaxe. Tuning the whole world out. Glad you enjoyed it!
I stayed at the Sheridan WAIKIKI in 1991 for a week and loved every minute of it........What a fabulous beach and equally fabulous view of the extinct volcano and all those great hotels lining the shore.......I watched the sunset go down every evening while relaxing by the pool and being entertained by hula dancers and Hawaiian music......Everyone should go at least once if they can afford it.........
I grew up in KAPAHULU… and it’s just a skip & hop from The famous Waikiki Beach, I use to ride my bicycle or walk to the beach with our surf board or boogie board right from school. Swim & surf all day… what a memorable day in the life of a kid that grew up at the foot step of The famous Waikiki Beach on the Island of Oahu… enjoy your last day.. glad you folk have fun… Aloha!
I’m an Aussie and Hawaii is my happy place 🌴. We love that end of the beach where you sat….but anywhere is great! The first time we went to Oahu, Dukes was the first place we ate and the last place we ate. So now we try to do that when we come, although it is getting very busy. Tikis, in your hotel is great too. We had a 4 week trip to all the islands booked in 2020 which we had to cancel because of COVID…..can’t wait to get back there again!
You two are Hawaiian Souls !!! I can see the love in your eyes for the islands and for each other 🙂 Please feel free to tap me for Kauai and more Oahu travel ideas for your return trip (those are our 2 fav islands too so we are kindred spirits !). We live in CA and are so fortunate to travel to the islands almost annually, so we know lots of secret neat places to recommend for you !!! You are The Real Deal and so is Hawaii.... cheers !
@@EECCTravels Go for it and as often as you can, plus you can break your trip up by staying on the west coast to and from - more fun times ! I will email you gladly and also provide some pictures to lure you two back 🙂not that I have to LOL !!! Cheers and happiest of travels and new discoveries ! m.
@@EECCTravels Hi Alilsa ! I just watched your Sedona video - amaaazing ! Also a heads up - I send you an email to your above provided email address of places to see and stay on Kauai and Oahu. I also attached some pictures, and hope by doing so, my email didn't go into a spam folder. Let me know when you read my email or if you didn't get it, I'll resend. Enjoy your traveling America !!!! m.
If you go back to Oahu with your son you should stay at the Hale Koa, the amazing military resort located on a huge prime spot on Waikiki. It is much less expensive than other hotels that are located on Waikiki.
Next time in Maui - drive out to Hana - experience the highway full of waterfalls and what maui was 50 years ago. NO Hi-rises or fastfood. Just beautiful jungle and delicious food trucks. Try Tony's Place for awesome food and beautiful scenery. Aloha!
We LOVE Hawaii too! My husband and I just finished a 1 month workcation there in June and we looovveeedd it! We did the cruise in 2019 and it was amazing as well!! Glad you all extended your time there. We can’t wait to go back next year hopefully 🙏🏽
Oh Boy EECC Travels did it right! I feel for you though because I have had many last days in HI. This was one of my favorite set of vlogs you have done yet. Sounds like you all caught that "Aloha Spirit" The Beach in front of the Royal Hawaiian is my favorite on Waikiki, but that park near your hotel in front of Queens Surf Beach is spectacular. Past that park towards Diamond Head is a neighborhood called The Gold Coast, it's a wonderful stroll and worth a visit. I Love Oahu but Maui will forever be my jam!!!! Mahalo iā ʻoe EECC Travels
We visited the Hawaiian Islands back in the 70s! Stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki. The most relaxing day of my life was the day I went to the Waikiki Beach and, as you called it, bobbed in the water. I have never felt so relaxed. It was amazing. I couldn’t get over how far out you could walk and not have the water over your head. It was the best!
Loved all your videos of your Hawaiian vacation. You both have done a great job showing off each place you went. Your enthusiasm and enjoyment of everything you do is a joy to watch and really makes me want to be there! 👍😀
Never had issue with getting table at Dukes bar-even over 4th of july weekend. Love that place, Hula Grill was awesome for 4th of July with sunset seating!
Thanks for sharing your last day on Oahu! Brought back so many wonderful memories of our first trip there in 2008. I look forward to watching your next adventure.
We are off to Honolulu in 4 days. We always stay at the Outrigger. If you get an ocean front room you can hear and see the great live entertainment at night right from your balcony. You can also get into Dukes bar from the side, then you don’t have to walk through the restaurant.
Hello guys! We were just there from 06-20=06-30.We visited the big island for the first time, Oahu for the third time , and Maui for the second time. My kids love the big island and Oahu the best. They did not like Maui as much for two reasons, the place is pretty windy and hotel accommodations were so expensive. We plan on going back to the Big Island and Kahui which is the island that we have not visited.
Again thanks for the memories. It was great seeing a lot of my old haunts, Dukes, Dukes Marketplace and many walks I took on the beaches of Waikiki. It is an awesome place to visit.
I experienced that wave action on Ka'anapali beach on Maui...loved it there. Just floating for hours! We did a day pass to the Westin there...just loved it.
I want to get my 12 yr old a ukulele. He learned how to play one in music class and is now OBSESSED with them. His father is Mexican, Filipino, and Japanese. I think this would be great for him! I am all the white LOL
I’ve really enjoyed watching your videos of Hawaii. I’m heading there in September and doing much the same trip as you. Can’t wait to get there. Fourth times a charm (thanks covid).

I loved getting up about 5am as the sun was coming up, head down to the water near those piers, and watched the octopus feeding on shrimp and others. I love Hawaii. Safe travels home guys!
I have enjoyed all of your Hawaiian videos every time I have ever went to Hawaii I stayed at the Waikiki Outrigger reef Hotel . I love Dukes and the view is absolutely beautiful. So happy y’all had such a wonderful vacation. Happy Anniversary, God bless.

If you like your wings crispy you can still have the sauce on your wings just tell any place to just drop your wing with the sauce.....If the wings still look saucy have them drop them again
Really good series! I've only been to Oahu, and that was almost 30 years ago. Would like to do the cruise as well, and get to see a bit of each island. I did love Oahu. - Coreen
You both are so cute... my dream is to go there..I'm 64 and I keep tilling my husband to take me there but he has no desire to go . So I'm planning a trip with my girlfriend. Is it better to go there on a cruise or just stay in a resort?

Its would be really cool to see a shark 🦈 while snorkeling.😊
Waikiki is the best place to learn to surf
Next time you’re on Oahu, you’ve got to get malasadas from Leonard’s and go to Lanikai beach.

What an amazing anniversary trip. I am jealous. Wanna go there too!
I cant believe its over. Even for you guys, this had to be the trip of a lifetime. 14 days in Hawaii exceeds a bucket list trip.
It really was an incredible trip!!

That's on queen Beach ⛱️
LOVED Tiki's-we stayed down the street at Banyan-Tiki's was our go to (that and Dukes). Came home with Tiki tiki glass too lol!

Hopefully one day I can make it to Hawaii. Every time I watch one of your videos my 1 year old starts clapping…she loves Jason and Alisa :)
As far as beaches go, I found Waikiki to be underwhelming. Maybe I'm too spoilt in Sydney
Looks like you guys found your island. I was born in Honolulu before Hawaii was a state and I'm not sure I've found my island yet. 🤪

Beautiful beach day! You can order those fat blow noodles from Zulilly, they have the hammocks or chairs too. That stinks your blew away!
