I am glad you guys had so much fun! I experienced most of the cruise ships features back in 2015 onboard the Harmony of the Seas. I would not do the flow rider because I do not like it and I am afraid to get hurt.
I just discovered your channel today. I am officially a new subscriber. I have been on 10 RC cruises and we are booked on the Wonder of the Seas for April. Tried to get on the Odyssey but we are a group of 9 and there were not enough cabins available at the time. Definitely going to be our next cruise. RC is our favorite cruise line having been on many other cruises going back to when the Love Boat was on TV. Wishing you both a Happy New Year.
The food looks fantastic - especially Jason's Bourbon Pork Ribs and especially the shrimp YUM. Sorry the ribs were not that good. Loved the entire video y'all did . What fun adventures you did: pool, Flow Rider, North Star, great entertainment at night with the drones etc. Great review and tour of Odyssey. Thanks for the tour!
We absolutely LOVE LOVE Royal Caribbean over Carnival!! The service is better, ships are better, their Island is better, etc.. We were gonna take a cruise on this ship & my darn daughter had to have her baby.. LOL.. can’t wait to cruise on that ship now. It will he awhile tho cause my husband won’t until things with the virus calm down.. we have grandchildren that go without us on our trips & he says he will not chance it. Was Alisha a little tipsy after the show?? Lol

I think that's a good idea of not going down the port and stay and explore Odyssey of the Seas. Wow! so much activities to do inside the cruise ship. I like the North Star and I had fun watching you on Flow Rider. Bionic Bar is the coolest invention. The Efectors are awesome. I will definitely book Odyssey someday. Thanks

Glad y'all had fun, except Jason hurting his shoulder. We enjoy classic rock too. Jacksonville, Florida home to Lynyrd Skynyrd. We sailed on Symphony of the Seas, which is also a great ship. Thought about doing the flow rider, my husband decided against it, he had hip replacement a few years back and also concerned he may get injured. Looking forward to the next vlog of the series.

@@EECCTravels We were on the Allure and the Harmony in 2019 and sailed on the Oasis in it's inaugural 1st. year. We liked the Allure the best but really want to check out the revamped Oasis. I love the boardwalk balcony cabins so we can watch the aqua theater shows and people watch right from your balcony. I've got the very last boardwalk balcony nearest the aqua theater deck 11 booked on the Oasis next November but because of medical conditions no vax for me so I'm screwed. Have to travel through ya'll and all the great vloggers now because I foresee canceling the Oasis cruise..... Always do the onboard booking only a $200.00 deposit and would have booked the Odyssey next.
@@MisBunnypics sorry that you cannot cruise right now. We just spent 2 weeks on the amplified Oasis of the Seas and loved it. We book a Central Park balcony because it is peaceful and the evening music is wonderful! We have sailed Harmony & Symphony of the Seas too and we loved this amplified ship!

I saw Bad Finger in concert and they were OWSOME ! Bad Company also and MANY more bands at that time ! The BEST was George Harrison (BANGLADASH ) tour and the EAGALES was one of the best live!~ I could go on and on but I was lucky enough to see many TOP bands! Take care and be safe in these crazy times ! I go out in 6 days on Sunrise and feel safer there then in the general public! THX for ALL the content! I know it takes time and effort

We just got off the Symphony of the Seas last Saturday and were parked next to them at Coco Cay. I loved the art, but couldn't tell if that was in fact a cat. lol.. took lots of pics. I find myself (now) searching for trips with Odyssey of the Seas. That ship looks amazing! Thx for the review of it! You two are so much fun!!

The North Star and iFly are free on port days. You will need to schedule them as soon as you get onboard to get a spot. On sea days they do have an extra cost of @$50 for iFly and @$38 for North Star.

We have only cruised Disney and Royal on Harmony of the Seas. We are currently booked on the Mardi Gras but are considering canceling and changing to Odyssey. Thoughts? The Anthem of the Seas is my local ship and it’s awesome. I love it, my children love it and their children love it. Odyssey of the Seas is a newer version and if given the opportunity will definitely sail on it.
All the "extras" are great if that's your jam! (My group would prefer to not pay for things we aren't interested in...although I rode on BOLT and loved it!)
My wife & I got off the Odyssey of the Sea, 12/18/21, on a six day cruise & was impressed & unimpressed with it! Yes, the ship had some unusual extras, but when you tried to use them, they were completely booked up & we only had 3000 aboard! Also, the ship had no water or ice shows, no comedy club, no inside movie theater or movies shown in the main theater! Being a brand new ship, RCCL should not take away expected amenities to replace with others!
You have to realize people get tired of the same shows on the other ships, thats why each ship is different so you don’t get bored of the same ole shows. I myself am over comedy shows, but if I miss them I cruise a ship with that offered. Im think restaurants & all should be totally different on each ship..
The North Star looks awesome, I wish I didn’t have vertigo. The flow rider looks awesome!!! Wipeouts are normal when U’ve never surfed!!! Surfing isn’t a easy sport!!!

QUESTION- I am loyal NCL but would like to try RC. My hold back you ask? Beverage pkg! Does any of Royals pkgs include the beverage pkg or do you always have to purchase separately? Also is there a daily limit like Carnival? Which is why we dont cruise carnival
Great video of this floating theme park. Just one question... where are the face masks? Other than the guys serving food, I didn't see a single passenger wearing a mask, even indoors. Maybe that's not the rule on Royal Caribbean. What was your experience regarding masks on your cruises?
This was a special 2 day event for the naming ceremony so face masks were optional. We stayed on the next 5 days and the regular mask policy was back in place.
@@EECCTravels Thanks for the response, but it really doesn't make sense. Why would the Royal Caribbean mask policy be changed for a 2-day cruise? The COVID virus doesn't know or care who is aboard a cruise; it's just as deadly. I sure hope what you wrote is not true since it sound dangerous.

We were docked next to Freedom of the Seas that day at Coco Cay. So where we were standing the other ship was in the background.

Masks are required indoors but not outside and not in vaccinated only areas like the Solarium.

Oh yeah, the drink package will cost extra but it includes everything imaginable you can drink onboard. And there is no daily limit. 👍
