The manga is actually one of the best written stories I’ve read. It’s so sad, that they didn’t capture the magic of the final season in the anime. You should read the manga if you have watched the anime already. It really is so much better

TK is Kaneki in this song, great song and great opening to a great show. Can really feel/sense/etc the pain/emotion/etc of Kaneki as TK sings it. As it's said by many, TK wasn't chosen to sing for Tokyo Ghoul, Tokyo Ghoul was created for TK to sing this song :)

They sound like they did before the Ambitions album but they actually got even better which is crazy. Okay I get a suggestion for both of you to react to an awesome vocalist. Jewel Woodstock 99, Who Will Save Your Soul. It's one of her best in my opinion. Along the same lines a good country music artist for Bisscute to react to would be George Strait, he has a good song that tells a story it is called, A Father's Love.

Enjoyed your reaction. I too have not seen Tokyo Ghoul, but I have it on my list of too watch. I have no recommendation on a anime song for you both. My first and favorite anime is Evangelion and I always looked forward to the opening theme song as well as the ending song. The opening pumped me up, while the ending theme just kind of brought me down to mellow. 😊😊
1st season is good, you can switch to manga after that, they really butchered the 2nd season SADLY. I love Tokyo Ghoul but the 2nd season of anime was a huge let down they deviated TOO MUCH from the manga

The manga is amazing. The anime is not that bad yes it cut all over the place and coulda been better but the only season that really dropped the ball was 2 the other 3 were not too bad.
The ending is literally the same just the book gives you an epilogue on each character and explains how coexistence works. Like how they invented synthetic food so ghouls dont have to hunt. I dont know what people expected lmao, the ending was fine.

I’m pretty sure Tokyo ghoul plays the first opening in one of their episodes forget which season and episode
I recomend you the song My Deares by Supercell.
Anime openings and endings songs are not just music, they are actually well thought songs which are very relevant to the story, You really are missing out on alot if you dont listen to the openings or endings
There might be some that are generic stuff like: "Let's go we can do it, let's fight together" or w/e but Unravel????? It really is the best possible song they could have ever made for Tokyo Ghoul. The lyrics, the voice, the music really capture the complexity and duality of Kaneki, his softness, his suffering and his fall to madness. Like literally impeccable 10/10 song, how could anyone ever skip? Like not listening to it the first episode? I call bs honestly. Also, it literally plays during the last episode's fight.
