Who is she? What's her relation to Master Gracey? Who did she killed? What are the stories fans have written about Constance Hatchaway? How does her effect work?
I recently found out in a fan fiction, while Constance perched on George's grave she fell and broke her neck. Another theory I had that she had a similar personality to Bertha Mason from Jane Eyre. A mad woman confined in the attic and had jealousy towards Master Gracey's affection towards Leota or The Beating Heart Bride.
I think the main problem is that the writers’ idea of the lore is so far removed from the fans’ headcanons. If you ask me, the fans are doing a much better job of telling the story (mostly. Looking at you, Phantom Manor incest theorists).

I remember the beating heart bride from many years ago..she was the scariest ghost in the mansion back then, and I miss her. These stories about Constance are all over the place, but I don't see the Hatbox Ghost as being an accomplice, or a blackmailer.
She and Abigail are important characters, that's why I believe there are so much fan fictions around them. I think the main difference comes from either seeing Abigail/Constance as Edward/Master Gracey's mother or pretending Edward/Master Gracey is not related to them. If he is related, the fan fiction says the Hatbox was killed by Edward/Master Gracey; if they are not, Constance hatched him away. But that is fanfiction territory and each fanfiction has its own universe and line.
I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion anymore but I definitely prefer her over the old bride, she fits the tone better she honestly slays (literally and figuratively)
Oh my gosh THANK YOU! Seriously she is 100x cooler, has an insanely intriguing backstory and doesn’t look like a 1980s department store mannequin with Christmas lights shoved up her bum.🙄 FINALLY a fellow HM enthusiast with some taste. 🙌

@@grogu-the-mandalorian the only problem I have with Constance is that a lot of the expressions the animatronic does are kind of goofy looking and don’t fit the personality she seems to have in the wedding portraits. I get that they were trying to make her look psychotic but they could have just had her look down and run her finger over the blade of the hatchet or something
Constance Hatchaway may be beautiful, but she's got a lot of evil behavior up her sleeves. Did you know that she was under the alias of Mary Gracey in The Ghost Gallery comics? Mary Gracey in case you didn't know that is Master George Gracey, Jr.'s mom. 😮 I think that Disneyland Constance rocks big time, because she's got a lot of energy to interact with guests who pass by her in their Doom Buggies which will take them to a lot of different spaces in a scary facade that you're talking about on RUclips. The former bride wasn't everyone's cup of tea, because she never spoke. All they heard was her heartbeat everytime the ride vehicles went passed her. Believe it or not, the Hatbox Ghost was her husband who still rests up in the attic as we know today. 🙉
I think it's because the fabrics that they use are more robust and full. The projection has more fabric to catch on.. In my opinion it looks like there's more opaque fabric under the sheer and tulle fabrics in the WDW Constance form giving it a more defined projection. Hopefully in DL's mansion renovations they will do the same. You're not going to see the full effect of a projection if you don't have a proper "Screen" to project it on. I love every bride to this day, though!
I love your videos, I am a rabid HM fan. Thanks for the backgrounds and fun narration. I like the old attic bride. She was mysterious and spooky. The video fx face of Constance is not scary it's just goofy.
To me Constance hatchaway and the heart beating bride are the same person and the hatbox ghost was one who helped her clear up old murders they were friends at first but slowly fell in love and she married others to gain wealth and then to me they lived together got married but shortly after Constance died of old age and due to her axe as a powerful ghost she decapetates the hatbox ghost so they can live together and made him a powerful ghost to and it combines him being the suited to the original and can be the second version and the grooms saying I do in the heartbeat one to me makes it so they are the same in both incarnations and his location on the balcony is him waiting for her to go out of the attic so they can go out to the graveyard so he helped her they got married but shortly Constance died and killed the hatbox ghost with her axe so they could live together and they are the strongest ghost in the mansion and the different designs are basically just new clothing and the hatbox ghost disappearance was him being somewhere we didn’t see or could be interpreted as a time before he died and it was long to us but in the story was only a bit and he set up the attic also maybe the ghost host is his brother or the brother of Constance.

I remember the beating heart bride too, when I went to Disneyland when I was about 10 years old. She wasn't scary to me...just sad.
I also remember the beating heart ghost version from the Haunted Mansion in California’s Disneyland and agree that she seemed sad instead of scary.

I agree that the constance vfx works a little better in WDW for some reason.
