love the rose gold years to give as a surprise to my twin sister, she has been working all day every day and these ears would be a nice surprise for her for all the hard work she has done.
Jen I would say if you like the lighting it gives off, then to just use warm glowing Christmas lights and hang them up around a couple of the doorways, then put the tree away!
Also glad to hear you didn’t have to pay anything for the tire fix.
Then put a house plant in the corner where the Christmas tree was!

I say keep up the tree. Use it year round and decorate it accordingly. You can make an Easter tree or a Valentines Day tree! Give Jenn some fun to do at home when she's watching Bandit, and he can watch.

We just got the hue lightbulbs and absolutely love it! It can use the location of your phone to sense when you are near home to turn on the lights. Highly recommend! Love those rose gold ears 😍😍
Hey, Jen. Just go buy you guys a big fake plant or tree that doesn't look like a Christmas tree and hang lights on it. So many people do that. Also, on curtains and mantels. We are lights nut all year.
Was gonna suggest the same exact thing. Just head to an AT HOME store or Old Time Pottery, here in Orlando and get a plant and hang lights in it.

We've had the Hue lights (color) for YEARS and we couldn't imagine life without them!!! Highly recommend and you can create just about any kind of ambient light you could possibly dream of!!!

We've had the Philips HUE system for just about a year now, and its fantastic!!! Yes, you'll be able to replicate the soft glow of the Christmas Tree with the bulbs or a standalone Philips Hue light. The only issue is that the standalone lights are fairly expensive. Pro-Tip... Bed Bath and Beyond carries the bulbs/lights and you can use the 20% off coupons on them!!

my husband set up hue bulbs alllllll over the house and attached it to the alexa ( echo dot) so we just yell at alexa " Alexa turn off the bedroom" after you are already cozy in bed it is amazing!!!!!!

I have a LIFX light bulb. They are less of an investment because you don't have to buy a control base for it. You can make soft light with it.

The Hue system is well worth the investment. I have timers set in different areas of the house, one set to turn on ‘at sunset’ which is cool new feature. I have mostly white only bulbs and one bloom in my toddlers room which makes for fun at bedtime. You won’t regret it

Also, we have hue lights in almost every room of out house and we love them. The amazon Alexa/echo pairs with them really nicely to turn them on and off/change the brightness. I’d definitely recommend them, maybe the “bloom” with work well for y’all

Replaced about 60% of our lights to Phillips Hue. Amazing system. Have it set to automatically turn on outside lights when I arrive home after sunset. I use with Siri and Alexa. Easy to setup also!

Love the Hue, and yes you can replicate the colors pretty easily. Smart Home is a never ending, addicting money pit. I bought the Samsung SmartThings kit which integegrates with Hue. Now if a moisture sensor detects water in the basement, all of the lights in the house turn blue, next step is to install a smart valve to shut off water automatically. I want to replace the smoke and CO detectors with smart equivalents so the lights can turn red (and more valuable I'll get a text so if we're away from home, we can call for help ASAP). Great vlog, glad no one was hurt in the accident...
