With it being “full time” 4x4. How does the steering feel? Does it have a lot of binding on tighter turns? Hard on grass?

First, let me mention that this machine sold a few months ago, so there is no motivation in my response other than to provide you with some honest information. 😊
Second, I have owned a couple dozen of these Hondas from the late 90s/early 2000s, and what I have found is that when people have a full-time 4x4 machine that they say is hard to steer, it's pretty much always because of bad ball joints. The ones I have had that were hard to steer were fixed by replacing the ball joints.
Third, no there is no binding on hard turns. You can research Honda's front differential to find out more about why this is, but suffice it to say, it was a good design that provided for both nimble steering and excellent traction.
Of course the steering isn't as easy as newer machines with power steering, but if you take a full-time 4x4 and compare it to a selectable 4x4 Polaris or Kawasaki from the same era, the steering is going to feel similar as long as the ball joints are good.

Yes these models are full time four wheel drive. But you can get a kit that makes it selectable four wheel drive.
