I love your videos! You do what I've done all my life..looking for gemstones, rocks, bottles and treasures in dumps, creeks and old home places. It's so much fun finding something beautiful or unusual that's been buried so many years! One of my favorite videos of yours was in the Scottish highlands. You walked the hills and mountains and the views were amazing! I loved it! I love to hear you both talk about the history and love the music you play. Thank you!
Hi beautiful ladies,my heart keeps going into tachycardia and sometimes A fibrillation,so i am currently using your channel as calming therapy..i don't think you realise what an effect your wonderfully valm and naturally beautiful videos have on your subscribers, thanks for simply being you.❤
I hope your doctors get your medications, procedures, etc. all figured out, and you'll be feeling much better soon. These kinds of problems are very familiar to my family so understand a tiny bit how intense these medical issues can be. Watching Gail & Alex is a terrific form of relaxation - I'm glad you discovered them! Relax, watch Northern Mudlarks, and get a bit better every day. Good luck & we'll be thinking of you here in Seattle. ❤😊 PS. I hope you've discovered Nicola White of Tideline Art as well, If you aren't familiar, check her channel out. I think you might find her a good source of relaxation as well❣️. Cheers, 🙋🏽♀️
11:50 is a soldier on the ground with a machine gun. One hand on each handle for aiming. The cute bottle stoppers and the twirlie whirly glass rod. That stoneware bottle is a really cool find a well!!
I thought it rather be a hunter wearing light coloured clothes and not an army belt visible. Toy soldiers were also not that big according to my knlowledge
I do agree, its a soldier on his belly crawling with a machine gun but it could have been like a model soldier for an adult to have and not just a kids toy, its quite big maybe meant for a shelf or a mantle piece😊
Loves it when you share the gorgeous wildflowers where you are!! They're always so lovely and the music you play in the background paints the prettiest picture!! 🎼🎵🎶💐🍄🌾🌿🪻
Thank you both for inviting me along on this muckraking adventure. I love Gail's 'wand' and Akex's little 3 legged dog. I really enjoyed the info about the soup coin. Thanks again for a glorious adventure.
You both are so tender-hearted, and keen to the disequality that still troubles humanity...and still you manage to make me laugh with your pudding doll montages, every time...we have to have a good laugh, from time to time, and I thank you for providing mine today. ❤
So interesting hearing about the soup token great little find , also I remember my Nan still washing her front step in the 80s bless her heart , she would scrub it until it Shined..❤
Great finds, That twisty glass wand would be beautiful if you made a silver handle, and tip for it. You could even make an ivy pattern since you've found a ivy piece. Enjoyed the video
Loved the finds today!! Well, honestly every week, but there is always something special, isn't there. The soup ticket, is very poignant, and sad. It should definitely NOT be, still a thing today. The twisty glass wand is beautiful. I'm curious, why you don't talk about the window of wonders anymore? I miss it. Looking forward to seeing more of your bedroom renovation, Alex. ❤ Also looking forward to more mudlardks, love that you do them with your mom. Gail, you must be such a wonderful role model. You are both lucky to have one another. ❤ Be watching next week!!!
The soup token was so interesting. I am widowed and off work for 3 months recovering from knee replacement surgery. I am so glad my church has a food pantry that I can utilize to help stretch my budget until I am back to work. So, you are right, nice to see some things do stay the same❤❤❤❤❤
The Greek key and ivy picture frame could date all the way back to the late 1800’s, which was the Art Nouveau era, so Alex, you were correct! 😊 Gail, I think that glass wand is part of a parasol. I love when you find tokens. Such interesting history. Thanks for sharing! ❤
Wonderful finds today, your definitely have an eye for little things. Love Charlotte's antics on the finds table today. The Soup token is awesome and sad at the same time. Thank you, have a great week.
Hi Gail & Alex, love your displays with the cute little dolls. Makes me laugh, you have a great sense of humor. Love all of your videos. Kind regards Dianne xx
There is also an enormous rise of food banks here in USA. Sad the fact that times have a way of repeating itself. But so blessed to have organizations to give aid to those in need. I love the stories and history of alot of your treasures you find. Thank you both and. Peace to All
Im so pleased you have put another vid on. I love to hear the excitement in both your voices when you find nice things . Two lovely ladies. Enjoying watching your vids
They made glass decorative walking canes in Sunderland, there are examples in the museum at the Winter Gardens. If I remember they were made with the leftover glass at end of day, not sure if they were to sell commercially or just for practice pieces.❤
I would have taken that thing that said DOG. I have 3 dogs. I wish you had adopted that other dog also. As crafty as you two are you could have put it on something. Love that bottle with the squished top. Isn't it a pouring spout?? I think that man laying down is a soldier who is crawling so he doesn't get shot. Whenever you say I know someone will want that but it's not me, I scream I want it but you just can't hear me that far away. I would love to have something from Scotland because I am Scottish and Irish, plus a few others thrown in for fun. 😊. Thanks for sharing your videos with us!
My favorit things you find are cod marbles, glass stoppers, small bottles, sea glass and reflectors. Anything from a tiny tea set is also lovely. The bits of pretty pottery and china that can be used to make jewelry are great and beads always excellent. I make jewelry so am drawn to items you can use to make wearable art. I don't understand your love of pipes, dentures or animal bones but appreciate that different people like different things.
I love the hose and seek pudding doll. It shows your mischief and sense of humor. ❤ In Scotland ivy was often presented to the bride and groom as symbol of everlasting life, devotion, fidelity and loyalty.
The glass wand, the metal polish bottle and the trinket bowl were our favourite finds. The background to the bottle was very interesting, thank you Gail.
Here in America the food banks are all over. Monthly we are able to go to them. So very helpful for many people around these areas. ❤ Great hunt on what you gals found.
That was lovely and some very good finds I love the glass barly sugar stick wand. Think that should go in the window of wonders as it will catch the light nicely. Great finds and unusual.
"... a wibbely wobbely top on the little bottle." I simply love, 💚 love, love your descriptions. Sooo cute/sweet and charming. 2) To me it looks like that maybe the top was done this way on purpose. Simply to make pouring a little bit easier.
Thank you both for this great video👍❣I do not some words you say, but I will figure it out🐚 I am watching your older videos and subscribed the other day. Keep sharing the joy😘 we need it. God bless you both🥰
Love the beautiful sponge wear!! You could probably do a whole video about your shards of Scottish sponge wear!! It’s gorgeous. I also love your wand…makes you even more magical!!😂 Always love your videos!! They are always great & informative!! Love all your channels!!
That glass wand is a beaut! You could cap the ends in silver, one with a loop, hang it in the window. The optical effect when it spins is pretty cool, I have twisted gold plastic one hanging from my ceiling fan 😊❤
Get a long walking stick with a cord or leather loop to go over your hand. Then you can test the ground in front of you when you walk through an over grown tip.
Always love your videos! Thank you for sharing even the items that you decide not to keep. 😊 Looks like it also could have been a child laying down reading a book at 11:50 minutes into the video. Love the soup token; I couldn’t find a picture like that one on line.
Well of course i enjoyed this lark. I enjoy all of your adventures. What unusual finds too. The token for soup was very poignant and really very thought proviloking. How sad that in this so called civilised modern age, nothing much socially has changed. Madness. The sugar Caine glass was delightful and definitely was a wand. Of course we are all wondering which dozy fairy, or other worldly magical being managed to loose that treasure. Never mind its in safe hands now. It realy was very pretty and a great find. The bottle was interesting too. Very unusual and something I've never seen before. Thanks for the info on that. One of my favourite finds was the ivy leaf frame part. Such a pretty piece and such a shame it wast whole. I bet that was lovely back in its day. It will be a special casting from that. Please show us Alex, if you get round to casting that. I'd love to see how it turns out and what you make from it. I recon it would make a lovely drop piece on a necklace. Or maybe a bracelet. See you soon. Bye for now. 👋 xxx
Great finds! Perhaps the name of the soup kitchen or church was on the back. Gail I agree with seeing your sponge ware and perhaps writing on it. I would love to see that saucer you left behind made into beautiful pendants or a lovely bracelet
Hi sweets Leavers Hardware, had been trading in Weston-super-Mare for 129 years and closed doors in 2015..some of us still polish our steps!! its a strip of brass on the edge some victorian houses steps some only have the 1st step or front step others have more..once being a nice seaside town, now most houses been turned into bedsits etc as the town has gone to pot quite literally!! if you contact the weston mercury (local paper) who were neighbours to leavers since 1885 they are only few doors down from each other im sure they will love to do a story of how you found your bottle all the best love and hugs xxx
Super finds. You remind me of me and my daughter.. she is doing her room... taking ages.. she got the wrong paint.. but I have to hold the ladder, and I get vertigo just doing that😂😂😂. The wand, definitely a walking stick, what else could it be? Too big for one of those sugar crushers. Lovely finds. ❤❤❤
Beautiful, the soup "ticket" is a bit somber and poignant, however I take heart in the fact that somewhere in the community ( sadly still needed and true) there was a resource available to someone in need.❤
The glass wand is actually a young unicorn horn...probably a shed so it's next larger horn can grow in. 🦄🤕😁
Gail you should write a book with pictures of all the different patterns of beautiful Scottish sponge ware you find. Love your channel.🇨🇦
Yes that's a good idea to write a book about her sponge ware finds
Please do
At least show us your collection! I know nothing about Scottish sponge ware There seems to be such a large variety of colors and patterns!
Thats a fantastic idea! Would love to see all the beautiful patterns all together!
And a book with all the best finds too
I love your videos! You do what I've done all my life..looking for gemstones, rocks, bottles and treasures in dumps, creeks and old home places. Ivy stands for Loyalty and faithfulness. I carried some in my Wedding bouquet. I love the glass wand!!
I do too,i think it is a very fancy barley twist walking cane though, ive seen them occasionally in old antique shops😊
Hi beautiful ladies,my heart keeps going into tachycardia and sometimes A fibrillation,so i am currently using your channel as calming therapy..i don't think you realise what an effect your wonderfully valm and naturally beautiful videos have on your subscribers, thanks for simply being you.❤
I do the same when my heart acts up. Hugs from someone who understands the anxiety.
I miss your shard stories. You discover a bit of history and how folks lived way back when.
I hope your doctors get your medications, procedures, etc. all figured out, and you'll be feeling much better soon. 😂 youre comment made me laugh,we watch TNM on tv in bed and the reason is its just so chilled and relaxed😂
Sending you calm healing vibes, sunshine, and balmy sea breezes from Florida, nannynobnobs. I hope that you will feel much better soon.

I thought it rather be a hunter wearing light coloured clothes and not an army belt visible. Toy soldiers were also not that big according to my knlowledge
@@Replicanna I think it's plain to see that it's a tin soldier. I realize that most have all been smaller versions. This one happens to be larger 🤷♀️
🎼🎵🎶💐🍄🌾🌿🪻
adore the little 3-legged pup. he needed to be adopted. thanx as always for bringing us along. so enjoy the wild flowers.
Aww...I love you ladies!❤
May Our Lord continue to bless your channel a thousand times over!!
God bless you!❤❤
Thank you both for inviting me along on this muckraking adventure. I love Gail's 'wand' and Akex's little 3 legged dog. I really enjoyed the info about the soup coin. Thanks again for a glorious adventure.
Remember, the wand selects the witch or wizard. 😄
You could sell some of your bottles and ink bottles at your store! Would sell so easily! Thank you ladies!❤❤
I was also going to suggest this.
You both are so tender-hearted, and keen to the disequality that still troubles humanity...and still you manage to make me laugh with your pudding doll montages, every time...we have to have a good laugh, from time to time, and I thank you for providing mine today. ❤
I love the doll holding the Soup token.
I enjoyed the day with you the finds were great. The little dog needs a ball under his paw . It was a great trip for me . Thanks
So interesting hearing about the soup token great little find , also I remember my Nan still washing her front step in the 80s bless her heart , she would scrub it until it Shined..❤
My gran and my mum painted their front door step white i never got around to continuing that tradition😂
Thank you ladies you've done it again with your amazing finds. It's always a surprise to see what you will find next. 😊
Another great show ladies with some interesting finds. The wildflowers were beautiful, amazing how nature has taken over the dump site.
Are you allowed to sell the bottles you find that you don’t want? I would love to buy some!
Me too!
❤ I love all the little bottles and their history. ❤
Great finds, That twisty glass wand would be beautiful if you made a silver handle, and tip for it. You could even make an ivy pattern since you've found a ivy piece. Enjoyed the video
Wonderful finds! Again I love where you put the pudding doll it's just so funny. Always love the nature shots. Sending hugs!
Those half plates makes me think, they would make a great peacock. ❤❤ to you both.🎉
Gail,you found a unicorn horn not a wand.😊
Beautiful wild flowers footage❤ Your videos are my go to happy place,i love them all.Thank you so much❤
Loved the finds today!! Well, honestly every week, but there is always something special, isn't there. The soup ticket, is very poignant, and sad. It should definitely NOT be, still a thing today. I love the short musical interludes that accompany closeups of the various flora in the area. Simply beautiful and brings joy to the heart.
The soup token was so interesting. I am widowed and off work for 3 months recovering from knee replacement surgery. I am so glad my church has a food pantry that I can utilize to help stretch my budget until I am back to work. So, you are right, nice to see some things do stay the same❤❤❤❤❤
I really enjoy your journeys to find beautiful history. ❤
Gayle your knowledge is impressive....thanx for sharing it
I never ever want your videos to end. I enjoy them so much. I love how you look up the history of the items you find. I also loved Gail's magic wand!
What a lot of lovely things ❤
I see that wand as a great Christmas tree decoration. And i loved that dog sign. I would have taken that but i am a mad dog person
I just love the way you place the penny dolls among your finds.😊 For some reason, I really like the little coin that says 'sour'.❤
I thought it said that, too, at first, but when they showed it more closely and talked about it, it looked more clearly like "SOUP."
I liked when the penny doll replaced the head of the crawler. The soup token is cool.

Loved the Soup token, what an interesting find❤️
You found so nice things again. 👍👍 I love the twisted glas rod. Greetings from germany!
in canada also,2 million canadians are using foodbanks every month. many living in tents. never was seen before!!!!.
How can anyone survive in the Winter in Canada in a tent? Awful. Trudeau needs to go.
Great finds ladies. Love your voices, especially when you are doing history on the finds. You should consider doing audio stories.
You could have used resin to repair the cracks and chips on that cute bottle.
The pudding doll that hides in the finds cracks me up!!!
Hello ladies.Alex, I loved the soup ticket you found. The lead figure is idiomatic, could be a soldier.Have a lovely day.😊
When you look at your finds, there is a lot of social history on the table. Thank you for sharing.
I could listen and watch you two all night. Such interesting finds.
They made glass decorative walking canes in Sunderland, there are examples in the museum at the Winter Gardens. If I remember they were made with the leftover glass at end of day, not sure if they were to sell commercially or just for practice pieces.❤
Hello Gale and Alex another fun adventure, we love coming along thank you 🙏🏻
😂the little doll in the funniest places 😂😂❤
Please make more jewelry! I love watching 💕

Wow, that soup token was unexpected . Great find from eras gone bye ! Loved this so much . The wand , 1898 jar with stopper it was a good week! ❤❤❤❤❤
You ladies are amazing, Lot of knowledge between you. Always brings a smile. Take care and stay safe.
Your beautiful green twisty wand is nice Gail..but my favorite find has to be the
amazing Pompeian casualty...wow i love that..very cool :)
Love the beautiful sponge wear!! You could probably do a whole video about your shards of Scottish sponge wear!! It’s gorgeous. I also love your wand…makes you even more magical!!😂 Always love your videos!! They are always great & informative!! Love all your channels!!
Great video, btw😊
I think that's the prettiest shard of spongeware I've seen! It has so many colors in it.❤
Horn of the national animal of Scotland...ron
Could the wand be a swizzle stick or cocktail stirrer?
As always, I enjoy watching yall do your thing. The flowers were so pretty.
Thank you, ladies for the beautiful photography, music and wildfllowers
We have many of the same flowers here in michigan.
Good idea🙂if that was me i would end up down a hole covered in nettle rash😂

See you soon. Bye for now. 👋 xxx
Queen Anne’s Lace!!! We live too high and cold for them to grow here! I love them so much!!!
You could sell some of those sweet botttles on your Etsy store instead of leaving them behind. Donna northern Michigan
Oh my, my allergies are thinking about acting up just looking at all the pretty blooms with their pollen!!
Great finds! Perhaps the name of the soup kitchen or church was on the back. Gail I agree with seeing your sponge ware and perhaps writing on it. I would love to see that saucer you left behind made into beautiful pendants or a lovely bracelet
