I like pumping-up my Queen-sized mattress with my hand, assuming a position like performing CPR. I could go very rapidly with locked elbow, cover on down-stroke with a perfect seal, release for a fraction of a second on up-stroke, allowing the pump chamber to refill with ambient air (essentially instantaneously!) and repeat. At the same pace as for CPR, it was full in less than five minutes-and the patient survived!
Much appreciated for this! I'm snowed in at work and none of us had any idea how to set up the air mattresses, but this video was a lifesaver for us

Thanks for the video; I am a nurse and I need an air mattress for when the hurricanes come and there are times we have to stay at the hospital. I didn't want to spend much, since when we stay its hopefully only a night or two. But these look so much better than a cot! Also nice that I don't have to have a separate pump.
